I am 14 episodes in. Agreed with you, the female lead acting and look just not good at all. Several scenes could have been done better by other actress. If the writer has to out a weak princess into the story, find a more convincing beautiful princess. The FL just look old and dry

Just started episode 1. Noticed Arthur Chen and Zhang Jing Yi has the same lips shape lol. Also smarty eyes. No wonder they looks so good together, very matching and compatible couple. Hot kissing scenes.

Yang Mi role here is antagonist, cold-blooded, ruthless and cruel. Don’t think any Chinese A-list actress want that role. The storyline focus on the twin brothers and everything else around them. I have seen haters bring up Zhao Li Ying and now NiNi, not sure what is the point, the drama has finished filming and out showing. Yang Mi has been acting for a long time, she has her own style and look, her success and status will not be influence by other actresses or vice versa.

I have been hesitate to start watching this drama. I like the main lead and seeing all the good command, but what is bittersweet? Would one or both main lead die?

Stop spreading Yang Mi hate here. Yang Mi has her vibe and aura. I have seen several NiNi project, she doesn't leave strong memorable impression to me.
