It does look like a goodbye kiss - he knows he’s leaving, thinking it’s the last time he’s gonna see her.

XS, standing between Mr Du and Du junior at the front of the conference room table, and his colleagues celebrating something (there are silver and gold balloons and champagne)

I remember seeing a chart or something saying that she’s 26 and he’s 32.

The preview for eps 39-40 made it seem like XS didn’t go through with the TY-Aneda deal and sacrificed his career doing so. I don’t see how he, despite being a high level employee, would (realistically) have the power to unilaterally wreak havoc on such a major deal. I imagine his boss Mr Du would have the final say.

Still waiting for the details of his Plan B. Maybe that’s what convinced Mr Du and Jingyang Capital to leave TY alone.

There’s a scene where they are happily running toward each other. I am keeping my fingers crossed that that’s not their ending. Very underwhelming!

Yup, he’s a total mess. He’s even consulting his puppy re: JH’s love for him. Who would’ve thunk!

Oh, got it. The fact it’s YJ’s friend rather than the security guy makes the plot less interesting. Haha

Edited to add: i should’ve recognized him by his jacket. He went into the shop when JH was eating YJ’s new noodle soup creation.

XS and JH’s breakup is probably my favorite scene so far. My heart broke for both of them. It definitely sets a very high bar for their reconciliation scene.

My gut tells me it’s not XS. Someone in his position wouldn’t do the dirty work himself. If he’d asked his assistant to leak the info, (logically) they would’ve showed XS and the assistant acting guilty and remorseful when they learned of JH’s dad’s death. And it doesn’t make sense for the assistant to act behind XS’s back.

It has to be XS. Even if YJ knew of Cloud Footwear’s existence, he wouldn’t, and had no reason to, know so much about the Company’s business operations, etc. Surely they will show XS and YJ’s conversation through flashback. And I want to know what XS and GY discussed outside of Lidu.

YJ has no romantic interest in JH. His one true love is XZY.

I hope it’s Thomas and not XS’s assistant. I really like the assistant and he seems really loyal to XS, so I would hate for him to be the bad guy.

Maybe XS goes back to Hong Kong.

During their farewell handshake, didn’t XS say “until we meet again” to his boss and the boss said to call him if he ever needed help? Maybe the boss will have a hand in resolving the TY mess. Ok, I am totally grasping at straws LOL

Unless I missed it, I do not believe the leaker has been identified. XS’s assistant only made the suggestion but it has not been revealed who actually did the deed.

There’s a clip of them on the phone, sorta smiling at each other. Hopefully that’s not the ending scene.
