That cliffhanger at the end of season 1! From what I found online, season 2 is supposed to air sometime in 2017 and season 3 in 2018. It's going to be torture T_T I want to see Prince Chagum grow, too. Not sure if that happens or not.
It can't be just me suffering from withdrawals, can it? A show as good as this that is so well-plotted and filled with many complex characters is hard to come by. It even trumped 'A Tree with Deep Roots' for me (although their strengths/emotional intensities are different).
I would definitely watch anything this screenwriter puts up. She has a good record so far.
Even though many people like me probably cant ever get past the element of adultery, that is not the point of…
Hmm, I absolutely hate affairs and I can't stand seeing them portrayed in any kind of positive light, but in this case, it's not exactly an affair. Legally? Yes. But emotionally? No. There was nothing between the married couple here. It was a complete business relationship as someone else pointed out.
ETA: Just thought it sounds like I 100% condone their relationship (since I'm making excuses for them). No, I don't. But the whole situation is all kinds of complicated and I totally rooted for their love to triumph, ethics aside.
This sounds interesting. There's not only going to be the conflict rising from the kids seeing their mother's place usurped by someone else, but also loads of culture clashes. And Ashida Mana is such a talented young actress. <3
I was part of the CB fan craze on Soompi at the time the show was airing. We analyzed every single element of that show as episodes aired (which was completely stupid now, in hindsight--there's no logic with trolls), and we were so confident (even with the teeny doubt that the penultimate episode gave us) that CB would pull through. Halfway through the airing of the last episode, people in the CB forum were like having breakdowns xP I was so frustrated I even teared up. I don't think I ever watched the second-half of the final episode.
Yeah, never experienced that kind of intensity with a show after that. Better not go down that rabbit hole again. Ultimate second lead syndrome.
I really enjoyed this. I can see why lots of people would not really like this. It's slow, the romance is so subtle you could barely feel it, and the politics feel a bit out of place in this movie. Still, I liked it. You don't see a man spend so much time with his wife in the Japanese historical genre, and bond over something they both share like cooking.
I wouldn't call this a 'love story' as the title states--it sounds too passionate for this subtle movie. But there is love.
It's very predictable with messed up characters. I don't know why I bothered. The only good thing about it is the friendship that developed between the two main characters.
This is a really strange, awkward movie. I don't mean it in a negative way--it's just a bit out there. There are a lot of silent scenes and lots and lots of awkwardness. The story also doesn't have a plot--not really. Did love the countryside scenery.
I just watched the first two episodes. It looks pretty promising so far. Although I know that it probably won't…
I started the show without looking up the length of this drama. There's definitely going to be loads of conflicts before the couple get together and I hope they do them well. Too bad I'm hooked now. :P
Thanks for Review .. I loved this drama ! one of my favorite now . I could not stop watching it ,and I finish…
Thanks for posting a comment.
Yes, it's possible that there's a second season since they did that with TEN and Vampire Prosecutor. But the worrying thing is that the ratings weren't as good as those of TEN (the highest rating TEN got was 3.91%, which is pretty high for cable). Still hope OCN will renew the show. Let's keep our fingers crossed :P It's true there are still things to resolve.
