Even though some of the side stories/cases weren't as good/touching as the writer probably wanted them to be, this was such a great little drama - 8.7/10. I have to admit I never liked Hwang Jung Eum but she was OK in this one, the two male leads were amazing. Highly recommended.
This will be downvoted lol but am I the only one who isn't feeling this drama that much? Here on mdl it's already the best drama ever, a gift from God, something you can't criticize, but I will still write this comment...
I just feel that something is missing. They have this great setup (yet cliche, childhood etc) but it feels like nothing happens most of the time, almost nothing. We knew that the main leads slowly would fall in love with each other since the first poster, except that there are no exciting plots twists or story turns.... It's ok to have no plot twists but really nothing happens, and I love slow burns normally... I keep seeing the rating and hype here on mdl, and there are good moments in each episode, but also alot of downtime and filler, I just don't get why this is supposed to be the best Korean drama of all time. I love the actors don't get me wrong, it's good, I LOVE them and follow on Instagram, I just don't think the drama is that THAT good. The writer should have had a few more ideas for the story, or put it together in a more interesting way.
I am feeling a bit of a "if you don't rate this drama 10/10 you are trash and we will attack you", and I'm not sure if that's the right way to go. This is nowhere close to dramas such as it's okay it's Love, maybe in a sense overhyped, I feel like people are forcing themselves to rate this as the best drama ever made.
Also, they stopped the cool scene transitions after the first two eps? Guess they got tired of it haha
