The comedy feels so forced, almost cringeworthy...
I expected a mysterious, maybe even a bit dark, thriller with a sweet romance on the side. So disappointed, but I guess its my own fault for not checking who the writer is first...
Will give it a few more eps though before dropping
- Everything is taking way too long time, I am not sure if you can call it slow paced or not as there are so many characters, I guess, but I just feel that the main story never really goes anywhere most of the time. We didn't even get the "reunion" which everyone was waiting for, and we are not sure if we will get another season...
- Too many Tagon/Arthdal politics-scenes. I think Tagon is a great character but most episodes seriously feel like 80% of the scenes are either him or other Arthdal "politics", so it does indeed get draggy, repetetive and boring here and there. Also, Eunsom almost feels like a side character - I just want more Eunsom and Tanya! Something is definitely off with how the drama is balanced.
- Last episode and the ending. You would think they would go out with a bang in in the last episode, but nope. Most of the last episode is just slow talking scenes and even some filler, we only get some true entertainment the last 10 minutes or so....before that cliffhanger that feels like a kick in the balls, as again, we might not get a second season (most likely not considering the ratings in Korea)...
I didnt watch it yet but reading comments... oh no, is there over the top-not very funny-comedy in this one? I didnt know it was the strong woman writer... A drama i dropped...

The staff team and actors really pulled it off, such a goddamn masterpiece. Cant wait for the final episodes.
How this isnt sitting at at least 9.0 here on MDL at the moment, is triggering me.
