I LOVED this drama, easily a 9/10 from me. Please don't care too much about the "expert critics" here on MDL, this drama was really good! Beautiful drama!
To be completely honest it was a bit boring, could easily have been 5-6 eps shorter if you cut out all the filler scenes. Didn't really connect that much with the characters either...
I will never forget this drama, what a ride it was.... One of the best (korean) dramas I have watched. I wonder if we ever will get another one like this again.. its a gem. Wow!
Also, I want to give the staff creds for always managing to keep it creepy and believable. I am sure that if other channels/countries tried to do the same story/situations in a tv series, it would most likely look cheap and silly, but the "The Guest" never lets you down. I am so impressed by their sense and talent.
I do admit that there were 2-3 eps in the middle when it felt they were running around in circles, but each episode led to new clues and progression of the main story, so it was fine.
Compared to other dramas, this one is on another level, another dimension - a masterpiece.
