I actually don't like historical genre because it seems it always relates to palace politics. But they seem always fascinate me with their costumes, makeup, props, sets, cultures etc etc. I love the historical/Joseon part of this drama tho. Mu Jin and Aeng Cho's romance is tragic but beautiful. Their love is steadfast in comparison of Shin Yu and Hong Jo's romance cos audiences keep wondering and arguing about a fake love caused by a potion and Shin Yu's two-timing.
I actually wished they gave us more of Mu Jin and Aeng Cho instead of fillers of the modern parts.
