The MDL synopsis summarizes Ep 1. The woman hanging on the tree, but not dead, is Ye Liu Xi. She has amnesia, all she has is a bunch of photos inside her bag. One photo is of Kong Yang, Chang Dong's girlfriend who died (not sure really died or disappeared). Liu Xi then tracked down Chang Dong who disguised as an old man. After the disappearance of his teammates in the expedition he has lived in guilt (he's the team leader). He, Liu Xi, and his old friend Fei Tang then go back to the desert to find out what happened.
