I am very impressed with the screenwriter Wang Xiong Cheng. He can write fleshed-out characters very well. I just realized I watched ALL dramas he wrote scripts about (and enjoyed all of them). And when I recalled, many of those dramas' characters are very well written, even the supporting characters!
For example in this drama, during Zhao Xi and Shi Lan's convo after the peds group dinner. You can see clearly the difference between the idealistic Zhao Xi and the realistic Shi Lan. Moreover, as others mentioned below, Zhao Xi is a different kind of CEO unlike the typical CEOs in dramaland. I can say this is not lazy writing from the screenwriter, he could just copy-paste other CEO characters that are so cliche in too many boss-secretary romances already out there. Instead, the screenwriter gave depth to Zhao Xi's character. We know in real life, bosses don't have the same characteristics.
Looking forward to his upcoming scriptwriting in Qu You Feng De Di Fang that obtained a distribution license already! When I heard about the drama I was uninterested since it's about healing/slice-of-life type drama I'm not a fan of. But now that I found out it was from the same screenwriter I want to watch it. Can you believe you want to watch a drama, not because of the actors but the screenwriter?
ML is like a breath of fresh air among so many male chauvinists in most of the dramas. He has a very positive…
You should watch him in The Journey Across the Night and Ultimate Note. Especially in the first one, since his character is someone with mental health issue.
Loved his mother "befriending" Shilan under the guise as his nanny/housekeeper. Lol They really are like mother…
After Dr. Jiang meeting Shi Lan at the hospital courtyard, and acted like patronizing her, I have a feeling that their relationship is not just a regular colleague relationship but deeper... were they classmates or senior-junior from the same med school?
The reason I wrote that President doesn't plan to make his assistant goes back, there was a convo between him and Assistant Lin mentioning that.
Omg Lu Zhao Xi is freaking hilarious. He surely is enjoying his revenge, he brought her 2 full luggage of ramen…
But she wanted him to repay 10 boxes of ramen for the one he ate and he wrote an IOU to her. Assume those 2 luggages are equal to 10 boxes. He was just being nice to her instead of making her carry 10 boxes he put them into 2 luggages ;D

We don't know the background of why Dr. Jiang rejected Shi Lan in the past. Cos every time they are both on one screen, the camera always pans to him like there's something going on between them not just a rejection. But I think he might kiss ass on Dr. Huang. He may also think that when she's done her temporary assignment she would go back to the Peds dept and becomes Dr. Huang's victim again so better kiss his ass too, lol. He doesn't know President doesn't plan to make his assistant goes back, lol...
My fav from here is definitely Push. Such a cutie pie! And a good actor too. Just finished watching him in Roy…
I also never watched Mike Angelo in Thai drama until his Chinese drama, My Amazing Boyfriend 2. I read comments (not for this article) that his older drama Full House is a better version of the original Korean.
Ep 2: I'm confused... why Jin Mu and So Yi can recognize the one in the pic is Naksu, but Seo Yul cannot? Does he have amnesia or that she is not the Naksu he knew?
