Yes, I watched the whole thing already in one day, though it has not been reflected in my drama list if you wondered ;D... I don't watch it for the cast as I usually do, more because I'm curious how they would tackle the alien topic, and it's as what I already expected ;D

Not the leading actress, but Li Yi Tong (who played Si Ming in LBFAD), also has a currently airing drama that's very intriguing since it's a time loop/thriller romance called My Deepest Dream. If you like Cdramas Love Me If You Dare and When a Snail Falls in Love, the novel writer is the same ;D

I don't usually watch historical crime drama either, but the ancient MO, crime solve technique, and in this case forensic technique, all are different than modern methods, so it's unique and refreshing to see ;D

The way the cases are represented is similar to this one and with Agatha Christie's style, it means it's unpredictable ;D

Boy 11 - the head of the pack (15 years old). My guess is Sung Hoon based on age.
Boy 7 - the most coward one (second in the row when they're running away) - 15 years old, now it's actually Ahn
Boy 12 - the one who fell into the hunter's trap while running away - 13 years old, I guess it should be Charles if still alive
Boy 13 - Yoon Jae. The youngest 11 years old, is most likely the killer. Some of us say it's In Sung but everyone in the drama believes it's Sung Joon including himself has a memory his previous name is Yoon Jae.
Boy 24 - 15 years old most likely dies hit by a truck during the escapade.

I'm not sure about the relationship, but Boy 11 and Yoon Jae both wear the same necklace as the girl who was raped (most likely she dies), and they are in a picture together. Also, during the escape, Boy 11 told Boy 12 to "go to Mom". Not sure who 'Mom' is and if they're related.

Unfortunately, every one of us believes that Boy 24 dies. Remember in Ep 1 the pickup truck hits a boy twice and then the boy is dragged to Baek? When they lay down the body, a pool of blood comes out of the head and drips down onto Yoon Jae's face (seen in the first GIF). With that much blood out it seems he dies.

For me the ending is the one I made the last GIF on ;D

Two theories: 1) the killer, let's say Sung Hoon, hates Yoon Jae probably because Yoon Jae somehow ruins the escape plan; 2) Sung Hoon by nature doesn't trust anyone. He might be Boy #11 (the one who says "we can't trust anyone but us")

Wait until you watch Chinese historical dramas! With hundreds of names and people wearing similar costumes, it's hard to identify characters!
I'm glad it help you who is who, although I avoided the Baek's group and the boys. The boys are the hardest ones to identify in the beginning, I had to pause and took screenshots to identify them, lol.
IMO the relationship chart clarifies who is who in the drama because they're in groups where they belong to.
I was also hesitant to put their ages and occupations since they can be spoilers.

Unrelated to the drama, thank you for subbing Thai dramas (I recognized your name so I checked out your profile). I like watching Thai dramas, especially lakorns, but they're just not easy to find since they're not officially subbed ;D

The drama wants to make Sung Joon a killer because of his erratic behavior matched Yoon Jae's sudden burst of anger when his necklace is confiscated, then Sung Hoon because his carving hobby and his distrust matches Boy 11's statement not to trust anyone but themselves. But if Eun Ki is the real one, who was she? The sister? Is she really dead? Or gender change?

It will be great if next the drama tries to kill or kills In Sung and Charles too (since every juror needs to die). Then the drama will really throw us into confusion ;D

Way back before the drama started I saw in the Photo section wedding pictures of Wu Di and Nan Xing. So I commented this might be Nan Xing's dream or novel idea since she's a writer and Wu Di might be her actual partner IRL. I was right ;D

After watching hundreds of Cdramas the ending is as I expected, as I commented way back before the drama started. So I'm pleased with the ending ;D.

Can I add one more condition? If the main character writes novel or manhua... hahaha!

I stopped reading novels/mangas just for the sake of knowing the drama's story/ending, lol. It gave me drama expectations that are unmet after reading them.
Bruh, now that you mentioned The Bad Kids I will rant lol... I was actually okay with the drama until I read a comment on the drama page. The mom of the child actress who played the half-sister posted on Weibo that the killer intentionally kills the kid, not accidental. But they cut the killing scene. The killer is actually worse than the drama's portrayal, but of course, it's not a good portrayal of Chinese youths. Still, great acting of the actor who played the killer, tho. I become his noona fan, lol.

I'll just give you a drama disclaimer that there is a court scene that is not like what normally happen in real life (in your profession ;D). Probably like me you'll exclaim that's not what it should be done (I was once a juror for a homicide case). But again, this is not a crime-law drama so following criminal/legal procedure close to the reality is not this drama's attempt to show audience

It seems they moved the suspect to Sung Hoon, lol. What do you think, is he really the killer?

I mostly watched romance dramas, but I also balance my life with non-romance dramas to prevent cavities ;D Did you watch Ep 8 already?

Yeah, C-dramas unfortunately are 'polished' to pass the review and most that are based on novels or manhuas have different storylines and endings. For Long Night, since the ML is a police officer, there is a no-no policy to create antagonistic public servants.

If you don't mind binge-watching, I recommended 3 Nen A Gumi: Ima kara Mina-san wa, Hitojichi Desu, A Murderous Affair in Horizon Tower, and The Long Night. All 3 are my 10-rated non romance mystery dramas.
