His wife's scar is already mentioned during the trial in Ep 2. Sung Joon found her and took her pictures as his evidence showed to the trial that Jung is the killer as his killer's signature.

For some reason the crime scene only showed the mom is stabbed, tho. I was looking if there is a child body but I didn't see it. The massacre of Jung family doesn't make sense if the Joker killer only goes for the ones related in the past. I wonder if the original USB to record the convo is with the family so they looked for it.

My thought is that Sung Joon/Yoon Jae betrayed them on the escapade, left, and was adopted by Ryu family and lived a nice life. Episode 3 title is The Children He Abandoned. So 'he' is probably Yoon Jae. Then somehow one or more is alive after the facility is closed down and decided to avenge Yoon Jae. Sung Hoon might be adopted after Sung Joon is ;D

Don't tell me that the female lead writer falls asleep while writing her novel again...

No, I know it's not age. All numbers are the numbers printed on their track suits. Watch the beginning of Ep 1 again. We only know the name Yoon Jae, which may not be a real name now or then.

I'm writing an MDL article about this drama so I looked up info like that on its official tvN page. But the page can be wrong too about the ages. There are two younger boys during the manhunt. Somehow Yoon Jae flashback scenes always follow Sung Joon's (when he gets ready to be a witness at the end of Ep 1 and when he has a nightmare at the end of Ep 2). The other younger boy is the one who falls into the bear trap. Juror #3 Jung In Sung is definitely the youngest of the lot. He's the same age as Sung Joon.
