I have only watched Ep. 1-6 so far, so I am a little behind. I am trying to decide if I want to continue. For those wondering why some viewers were thinking Chang Chvn Chia (MC) and Ho Yen Kai (ML) would end up together despite the synopsis, I will explain why I thought that. In the first Ep, we saw ML in a room w/ doorways & it appeared as though he might be time traveling or in a coma or something & trying to find his way back to the MC. The poster shows 2 images, but both are MC & ML, 2nd ML (Cheng Diao Chin) is not shown at all. If the 2nd ML was going to become the ML, would he not be somewhere on the poster? They could have shown MC w/ each ML. It would not have been a give away any more than the synopsis. I thought the poster could possibly change, but it has not so far. In regard to the synopsis, it states "As Chvn Chia wallows in endless longing after losing Yen Kai, Cheng Diao Chin from the basketball school team comes into his life". However, in the show 2nd ML did not come into his life after he lost the ML, he met them both in Ep 1. This gave me reason to believe the synopsis is not accurate. I have seen a synopsis be wrong before, either to mislead us or not reveal too much or even just a bad or badly translated description. In regard to the title "Smile after tears", some assumed that means 2ML will bring MC Smiles after his tears from losing the ML (especially those relying on the synopsis), & that may be the case. But, if there was time travel or a coma story line & the ML came back to the MC, the MC would be smiling after his tears. I also thought it could have been possible that the title was not even referring to the MC at all. It could have been referring to the ML, especially if the synopsis was just to trick us or confuse us a bit. The ML had been through a lot with his parents, his health issues, his cat dying...& did not smile much. If he was able to return to the MC, then he might have been the one smiling after his tears. Anyway, just explaining my thought process in thinking he might end up with the ML despite the synopsis. From comments here it seems like he might actually end up with 2ML. If that happens, it would definitely be a pretty unique story. I think I might try to get caught up. We will see how this goes!

Based on the poster, it appears that Sangnuea and Naphitch (the troublemaker brother) are going to be a 3rd couple. While I have been a little curious about Sangnuea, I don't think he will be a villain. I assumed Sangnuea finding out about the warehouse incident is just something that we are supposed to assume happened off screen. I don't believe we saw Ongsa being told anything about it either, but he did not seem surprised when it was brought up. He seemed like he was already aware of it too.

I do see where you all are coming from. I understand that in real life that coaching style is most likely unheard of, even at a high school level. If you disect the show, there are a lot of things that probably would not happen in the real world. Like a man uprooting his life & renting a seperate apartment to do an investigation on his own, a woman uprooting her life to get hired by the same school as a best friend that it seems she had not seen in a long time, a woman wearing a watch that means so much to her & is too big for her on a camping trip, a teacher & a coach spending a ton of their free time & personal finances on the team..... In some shows, stories that seem too unrealistic do bother me. For some reason in this one, it does not. I am just seeing it as what it is, a drama. I did not grow up playing sports, so maybe that is why the coaching aspect does not really bother me. I am just looking at each aspect for what makes sense in the drama. To me, his coaching style matches his personality & he is supposed to be a coach that is so good that the team they played in Ep 21 had wanted him as their coach. For example, in that game, if he was out there full on coaching & they lost by 11-0, it would not make sense in the drama for a coach that is so sought after. The boys were off in this game, they were not working together as a team, 2 of them specifically had a bit of a falling out, so it made sense that they were not playing their best. They also did not get to prepare for this team like the others because the opposing team was switched at the last second. The devistating loss will probably serve as a catalyst that brings the team together & I am guessing they will later defeat that same team & he may or may not coach a little more there. He had stated to the FL that they were not going to win this one & that it could serve as a lesson. I realize this is not the only game that he has been shown to be a unique or unrealistic coach. I am just using that game as an example. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions/perspectives, and I am not trying to tear anyone's down, I'm just expressing mine & I appreciate you sharing yours. I think our personal experiences & opinions have a huge impact on how we view shows and I just see this differently than you & some of the others. I am enjoying this show though and I hope that you are as well.

Wang Fa is not your typical coach. His first lesson for the boys was to not just blindly follow someone else's rules, to think for themselves. He has been trying to teach these boys, who have been abandoned by a coach in the past, that they can do this on their own. I also think about his coaching style in relation to his personality. To me, his coaching style makes sense for the character. He also seems to be doing a lot of his coaching in the classroom & during practices & then during the games mostly allowing the boys to work together & apply what they have learned & make decisions together as a team, unless he feels like he needs to step in with some advice.

I think Ju Li served her purpose. She may still appear in upcoming episodes, but I felt like she was/is there almost in place of a 2nd ML, to make the ML jealous (of a bond someone has with the FL) w/o introducing a potential love rival (at least at this point). In regard to the ML's sister, I feel like there will be more of her to come, but I don't know how much more development her character will have as this show seems to be more focused on the relationship between the main couple, the friendship & team bond of the boys, & the relationship the main couple has with the boys both on & off the field.

I agree that Esther seems more "grown up" in this role (than the one show I had seen her in previously).

Woah! I was not expecting that. I was actually thinking Put & Dan might end up being a second couple since they are shown on the poster with the main couple & since the actors are playing the main couple in an upcoming series.

It states above that a genre for this is "Supernatural" & a tag is "Demon Male Lead". If Jane Patrick is not a demon in the novel, as you stated, then are those tags incorrect (based on the novel)?

In regard to your comment about the neck biting, there were pheromones surrounding them at the time. How an Omegaverse works depends on the writer. There are certain rules that are usually the same, but some things can vary from story to story. A lot of times, an Omega who is showered in Alpha pheromones basically freezes and can't control their body. So, I don't think he just stood there and let himself get bitten. I think that he just could not do anything about it. Plus, according to the description, they are "Fated Mates", whenever that exists is an Omegaverse, they are usually drawn to each other, so he could have been overwhelmed by those feelings as well. Unfortunately in most Omegaverse stories there is what we would consider non-con. I did find it very odd that the main character lives in an Omegaverse society & had no idea it existed. But, some Omegaverse stories are that way.

It was the cleaning lady. Watch episode 13 starting around 5:30. You will see the FL sleeping on the couch then on the right side of the screen you will see people going into the meeting room and you can see the cleaning lady erasing the white boards. After the FL wakes up and sits up, you can see the cleaning lady still in front of the white boards picking up her cleaning bucket & then you can see her reflection as she passes by the room the FL is in.

The two friends were seen quite a bit in S1, b/c they were part of North's friend group along with Nao and they were all part of North's story. I wondered why one was missing from S2, unless the actor just was not available. It has been awhile since I read the novel. I honestly don't remember Get. Was he in the novel? Or was he possibly just created for the series to replace Skate? I might have to do a little brushing up.

I agree it was an abrupt transition. I thought they might show them moving into their apartment, like they did in the original trailor and show them meeting North. But, I noticed their apartment in Season 2 is different & their friend group is also different (since S2 includes their friends from their novel & one of their friends from S1 does not appear). I wondered if they just jumped right in as to not make those changes stand out more.

Tiger & Nao were in Season 1. A lot of their University time had already been shown in Season 1. So their story in Season 2 was mostly pre-University and then once the story caught up to where Season 1 took place, they didn't need to show us a lot of their University time before they become a couple b/c they had already shown it in Season 1.

Yes, but the new character was played by Snoopy Yu! Acting alongside Andy Wu (Brother Hong). I was so excited to see him in this episode & to see them on screen together again! (They were the main couple in My Tooth Your Love from 2022).

Gaysorn left Scent's house with Ray & Mekin & then stayed with them. It would make sense that if he left Scent's house with them & took his clothes, that he would have taken his clothes to their place. It also seems like he was only going home to find out more about the letter that was sent to his Mom & then he was planning to return to continue searching for his Mom. He would most likely have clothes at home already. So, if he was planning to go back to Ray & Mekins, he could have just left his clothes from Scent's house at their place until he returns.

I understand your frustration, but whether we like it or not, AI is part of current times. So, it is totally believable that this character would use AI to get information. It keeps the show current with the times.

They were referring to Ep 2, where he listened to tips from AI. He did not watch a You Tube video. He actually got the information from AI & that's why they said that in Ep 3. Also, mentioning You Tube w/o proper consent could cause copyright issues. That's why some shows say a generic version of it like "My Tube". Having him get the answers from AI prevents those issues.

I thought the same, but looking at the information on here, I am not so sure. It is listed as a Drama. There is no tag for Romance. Also, Save is listed as a Main Role and Guy is listed as a Support Role. There is also a tag for Gay Supporting Character, but no mention of a Gay Male Lead. We'll just have to wait & see.
