Q31. Last but not the least! Thanks for everyone who participated and chimed in the Year End Drama Challenge!…
We zipped by all the questions already? WOW!! How fast time passes when we are having fun! Thanks for organising this Micha!
There were so many CDramas this year, but only a select few made me watch them till the end:
My favourites (not in order) are
1. Lost You Forever S2 - This was saved by how well S1 told the story. S2 was a hot mess and many of us watched it just for the closure, but probably need to read the book to understand the characters better. 2. Fangs of Fortune - My eyes were well fed but watered by tears. 3. Strange Tales of Tang - Who doesn't like a mystery? 4. Blossom...I have not completed this, but at the rate I am clicking on the "Next Episode" button, this would be on this list if I had finish watching it earlier.
Honourable mention to The Double Started out strong, but somehow along the way, the revenge just took over everything to the point of it feeling like an overkill. For some villains, one can see that the revenge and their death/punishment are justified, but for others, one simply feels sad for them. This applied to The Double. I felt sad for the princess and the ex-husband in The Double. I don't think their stories were handled well. Sighs...
Anyways, looking forward to another great year of dramas with you Moonies. ππ
I didn't entirely dislike her as YBC, because yes, her situation as an overlooked concubine's daughter, even with…
Agreed, she acted well. Because we all disliked Bitchang and TH.
I am reminded of Jack Gleeson as Joffrey Baratheon in GOTs. Dang, I would want Joffrey to be Ramsay Bolten-ed so badly. Absolutely disliked that character to the core and at the same time admired what a great actor Jack Gleeson is to make me feel so much dislike for a character.
Anyways, update. The man got married in 2022 and is back to acting. Yay! I look forward to seeing him in more dramas hopefully in another villainous role. He is so good at it.
2024 was not bad at all, IMO. There was of course no big blockbuster type drama like TTEOTM. However some interesting…
Yes! Their occupation. Killing machines. LOL π€ͺ Ok, I am not the only one who sees the resemblance. LOL
Did you enjoy the episode? I think the pacing is tight, but since they have spare 6 episodes, some parts can be more detailed. It does feel very fast for certain parts. Anyways, overall, enjoying it so far.
Im going to be honest, the hate CDL's character gets is such a double standard. BECAUSE if you think about it,…
We disliked her as Bitchang, acting the victim when she was a snake all along. The gal got to marry the crown prince, that is a "big promotion" for a concubine's daughter. Not ideal but Crown Prince XiaoLin loves her so much, their kid will probably be the next crown prince even if he has to marry an official crown princess. Based on XiaoLin's personality, I doubt he will marry an official crown princess. Bitchang does not need to do what she did. Yes, we understood her situation but what she did or will do (depending on the episode you are on) is wrong. Karma is always such a bitch. Bitchang will have a bitter pill to swallow in a few more episodes. Not gonna spoil it for you, but my tears fell like the Niagara Falls for them in EP29. Sighs...π
The most dislike fell on Tian Huan because of the way she bullied little clam Sang Jiu. That TH woman is the worst!!!
I think it was a year of hits and misses and unexpected finds for me. My main cdrama gripes this year are unnecessary…
Yeah, like the author was there, but it did not really help right? It was all about the profits and the story came last.
Anyways, I am happy for TTEOTM alumni Weiwei who took on the role no big star wanted and made it his own. He is doing so well now. WEIWEI!!! πβ€οΈππͺ
Hahahaa....25% fox fan. Foxy thanks you Joas. π€£π€ͺπ¦π

HAHAHAHA...But don't expect a 100% lookalike. It's at certain angles and styling. Like that Xia Zhi Guang dude. At certain angles I can see Weiwei, but he is definitely not a Weiwei lookalike.

I think the crying is still quite acceptable. It stopped before I even felt like FF. LOL

In the FOF page, this was Neo's and Bitchang's song. LOL
