I watched The Longest Promise because of XZ. Much as I love the man, I just cannot. After TTEOTM, costumes don't look good to me etc. And I think they miscast a talented actress for the FL. No hate to her, but she doesn't blend with XZ nor is her look suitable for Xianxia and she could be a bit too young. I keep getting sibling vibes and not CP vibes from XZ and her. So any romantic scenes get uncomfy, it's like big brother and little sister smooching. Ermmm...🙈

Anyways, glad you are still able to watch, cause I was in a drought. LOL
