In the extremely unlikely event of a Season 2, they have the stories of the other characters like PR and YQY, even Bitchang and XL/GYJW as filler, even the Demon Tiger to put in too.
I guess it can easily be a 20-30 episode drama including LSS travelling the world to look for TTJ, the mortal arc described in the final 5 chapters of the novel and then some time in the demon realm when the family finally goes home? But it would mean much less screen time for Xixi, he will only appear from the mortal arc onwards. But hey, I'll take it! More kissing scenes please!! LOL 🤪🤡

I love TTEOTM because EPIC stories about love, sacrifice and redemption never grow old. A stoic, ill treated hostage prince overcomes all odds and sacrifices himself for the 3 realms forsaking his chance for a little bit of joy in his life. A girl who regards the prince as her mission finally realizes what a gem she has met, but realizes it far too late. Sighs...🥹🥲
I appreciate that Youku spent a lot of effort on the costumes, sets, soundtracks and most importantly, they got the correct people to be the main leads, LYX & BL. The acting and chemistry between those 2 was off the charts and it made us all feel so deeply for TTJ and LSS. When they were happy, we laughed with them, when they were sad, we cried with them, we wanted them to kiss more. 😍😂🤣 And do you remember we were all emotional wrecks when the drama ended. That was how good and believable their acting was. Just too bad about the 40 episode cap and the could be better editing.
Upon starting the first episode, I was hooked. The storyline could have been better, but I understand it was due to the cuts to make 40 episodes as per regulation. The thought of stopping the show did not occur even when Bitchang was annoying me so badly. These days I cannot proceed when a character annoys me in another Xianxia drama.
And last but not least, because of TTEOTM, I met many like-minded, wonderful people here in MDL's TTEOTM page. Thank you for journeying with me. I enjoyed watching it live with the residents here. It was good to know I wasn't the only one obsessed and ugly crying over it. LOL
