More like wary of Youku Xianxia dramas...😅 LOL For me recovery has been watching LIS! Thank goodness for it! It is a comforting balm and I can see the similarities between TTJ and Yuan Shuai. Hilarious! Especially when Yuan Shuai gets jealous. LOL

Most of us will probably meet again in another LYX / BL drama? I am looking forward to LYX's upcoming "Follow Your Heart". If many of the same bunch with the positive attitude in the TTEOTM comment section also will be watching Follow Your Heart, I think we would be in for another fun commentary. And Follow Your Heart is under iQIYI, we should be getting a HE with less trauma....I hope. LOL

I do not think the FL for TTEOTM is childish. She is torn between her mission to save the world / universe and her eventual love for the ML. Please give it a go but also bearing in mind this series was unforunately affected by the new rule of 40 episodes cap. It was originally supposed to be 56 episodes long.

I think it deserves at least a 9.5, ideally a 10. LOL

I think I was lucky that I did not watch LIS before. So each chapter is something new for me. :)

And for those brave souls who dare to rewatch TTEOTM. 🤪
Remember to do so if you have Netflix and the country you are is carrying TTEOTM.

Much as I love TTEOTM, I have to agree that the TTEOTM editing team could have squeezed 15s or 1 min for a simple happy ending without showing us all the cute stuff that happened with TTJ, LSS & A-mi. I believe it would been satisfying enough to have a positive impact on the ratings as well as viewership. This would also be in line with the novel which some people have read and loved. I think the uproar comes about as this was not in line with the novel conclusion nor was it better than the novel conclusion. If the ending showed was indeed a much better and more powerful conclusion compared to the novel, then there will be no uproar and ratings would continue to go up and not come down due to viewers disappointment and confusion.

We also have to remember there are folks out there who cannot take being traumatised as well as us who watched the full 40 episodes while ugly crying together. 😭😭😭😭 LOL...that makes us all sound sadistic or just hardcore LYX and BL fans. 🤪😂😅

As for me, I think therapy at LIS is helping and reading the novel final chapters with the HE which Micha101 kindly translated and posted for us. My traumatised heart is coming to terms that this is the ending Youku team has chosen to go with. I do not agree with it but it is what it is. Let's give our support as overall it was a great show that captivated us for the last few weeks. Let's drink to that! Cheers! 🍾🍷🥂🍸🍹🍺

I guess many people got confused and then traumatised and disappointed. Remembering TTEOTM is a victim of the 40 episode ruling will hopefully help put things in perspective. 😔
