Assuming the story went with the happy ending of TTJ and LSS getting together after she finds his reincarnation. But TTJ is no longer immortal but an ordinary mortal. Doesn't that mean that he and LSS will get separated again when he grows old and dies? 😅 So bitter sweet then...

Was not referring to the dirt on her nose, but the make up. It was melting off, especially at the side of the nose and pores were all showing up in that scene. :)

Nothing against natural looks, but for the same reason why the models on catwalk / magazine shoots have hair and makeup done. Or when we go to the studio for graduation pics, family portraits etc. Just to look nice / "perfect" for that shoot. On a normal day or non entertainment purposes, sure let's flash our pores! LOL

Wow...we are on our way to 51,000 comments! I don't remember any other drama having such an active chat section and the comments are all respectful of each other! Such a healthy and fun comment section. Does anyone know if there is there another drama that got more than 50,000 comments?

For me it's not so much of the lighting. I think the makeup complains are valid. In close-up, you can see the pores of the actors or "melty" make up around the edges of the actors noses. It is a distraction from the beautiful costumes and accessories and the actors. For example in the scene where LSS is waking up as YXW, you can see her melty makeup and her pores. It kinda spoils the mood. And since makeup team let slip this aspect, the post production team did not cover up the "flaws" before the series got released. Maybe not enough time to meet the release date? But still...It does not do justice as everyone worked so hard on this production.

But overall I still enjoyed the show. I mean who can hate on LYX's great acting and fine face and elegant pose. And that chemistry with BL. Just awesome! 😍

He looks so good with coloured lenses. I like him especially in the light coloured ones. LYX... Just so fine. 😍😍

Those 2 have grown on us. Would have made a cute couple. It was like SY pretended she did not know JM liked her. But in the end showed how deeply she cared about JM too.

I think TTEOEM seriously needed 50 episodes to properly tell the story. So much has been cut and a lot will have to be tied up over the last 2 episodes. I think it's gonna be rushed. But hey, as long as there is a happy ending. I think I can still deal with it.

This is crazy how much has to be carried on the backs of the final 2 episodes, tying up loose ends etc. It is going to get very rushed. Sighs.

I am at episode 6. I just noticed a deja vu scene. YXW was supposed to be teaching TTJ how to draw charms and she fell asleep in front of him.

Fast forward to the Immortal Realm. CJM's shifu, Master Zhaoyou falls asleep as CJM practices how to use their sect's gongfu/spells. Aww...so cute. Deja vu right? LOL

He definitely has those vibes! LOL
