I never liked any of the shows in which Yoochun or Shin Se Kyung played, so I was a bit reluctant to watch this show. But I'm SO glad I did ! It's really great !

I think you didn't quite understand, Sang Jun loved her as her old self, he critisized Jenny more than once when he compares her with Hana.
To me, the real message this movie wants to pass on is that you have to accept yourself as you are, because there definitely are people who like you. And because you're not confident, you don't see it.

I actually recognized the actress only in episode 5, but since the beginning, it has a City Hunter feel... which makes it difficult to be liked, because I can't but comparing the two dramas all the time.
