there's something crazy good with Korean action movies. I fuckin love them. this one didn't disappoint i'm surprised…
Read the comments, so much hate. I'm not surprised the ratings are low. I think there's a few genuine dislike of the movie and the rest is just homophobia. It's slowly going up tho! It was lower than 8.0 yesterday afternoon.
FL looks way too old for her character in the story… seeing that according to the flashback, she was a young…
I had a hard time getting through that. Wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't repeatedly point out her age and make comments like "wow, she looks so young for her age". Absolutely no shade at the actress. She's beautiful and a great actress....but she also looks her age.
He used the app to gather the 4 ( if I recall correctly) men to rape roleplay. He pretended to be someone else (Agape) to lure Sum to the same place the 4 guys were at. She thought she was meeting Agape there and the men thought she was there to roleplay.
He’s a fucking psychopath serial killer that wanted to murder her friends, and probably would have ended up…
She didn't change her mind, she still very much loves him. My view on what happened is very different from whom you are replying to. Sum doesn't understand most emotions. She doesn't know on how to act with a lot of the social aspect. On what is socially expected. Example: Gi-Eun got hurt, Sum didn't visit her because she didn't know that was the right thing to do. Sum knew how he was, and she was ok with it to a point. She struggles with what is right and what is wrong, but she does understand that when you do something wrong, there are consequences "People face the consequences for their crimes, you said that" (episode 1 in the restaurant and this quote is from the man in prison in episode 7). Imo, the answer to why is told in episode 7 when she visited the man in the prison, and in episode 1 when she killed the cat. " I know you wanted to help the cat. You didn't want it to be in pain". Now if you look at the prison scene, she asked several questions, "did the person deserve to die? Then it's ok to die if you commit a terrible crime? Do you forget those you killed?". Remember that at this point, Sum had already killed someone, and she was continuing with her life as if nothing had happened. Sum doesn't feel the same way has a neurotypical would feel. Now go back to his last visit to her, which emotions was Yun-O showing? Fear. They also showed the fear flash card after that visit. If you recall, there was a scene in a previous episode with her mom trying to teach her different emotions. To her, due to her mother's explanation on why the face was purple, Sum associates fear with dying/death. Again, she doesn't understand the social expectations. She goes by past experiences and applies it to current ones. Unfortunately, life isn't that simple. It's not black and white. To which Sum, again, struggles with. Her killing him wasn't due to her friends, herself, nor her job. She felt no fear around Yun-O. She killed him for the same reason to why she killed the cat, to end his pain. This, of course, is only my view on it. Some might agree, some might not.
The glow-up for everyone in this drama is just *chef's kiss* I'm not a fan of romance nor do I normally watch cdramas (I think this is like my 3rd total and I have been watching East Asian shows for years) but I am sure happy to have given this one a try!
I do feel the romance was even more needed BECAUSE she was on the spectrum. It's help show how Autism are normal…
They had an entire episode dedicated to love and disabilities. In my opinion, no, it was not necessary due to that episode alone. As for her Autism, there was barely any explanations to why she reacted the way she did or the things she did. Oh, it's just because she has Autism...I sound like the mom? Nowhere did I say "our Autism" was the norm. In fact, I said it was a spectrum and even pointed out that my son and I weren't the same. I am more than aware that there isn't just one type.... I just find that the show was poorly executed in this regard and we can agree to disagree. For the dolphins/whales, I am also not knowledgeable in that area and I agree, it was a perfect choice. I wish I had something like that instead of just a "OH!" lol
Being on the spectrum myself, I was both looking forward to watching it but also worried on how Autism would be portrayed. I'm not done with the show yet and I struggle to finish it. Sometimes it feels like they did a decent research on Autism and most times it feels like they just throw whatever at it. I'm aware this is a spectrum. Both my son and I have it and we are completely different...but this feels off. The romance is completely unnecessary. With that set aside, I do enjoy the court cases. They are a breath of fresh air from the usual murder cases etc...
It certainly doesn't reflect the vast majority of individuals who are diagnosed with the condition. It is as the…
Both my son and I are on the spectrum. We are quite the opposites of each other with some similarities. My only concern with this show was if it was respectful. I see by your comment and others that it is so I will now give it a chance. Thank you 😊
