MDL indicates me 8am. So I guess it depends where you are. They must have put the right time for everyone. And 8pm must be in China's time.

It was more than a hobby problem. People were spreading a lot of rumours, gave hate to the drama makers, were saying they were going to die or kill themselves. That life was unfair, I saw some sinophobic comments as well. It was overly dramatic and negative. I, myself won't judge people for having a hobby, I watch dramas everyday. But these reactions were really unhealthy and dangerous in my opinion.
