Are you watching on Viki? The subtitles there in English are ok but in other languages it's awful. You have a french name, are you watching it with french subtitles?

Unfortunately in Chinese dramas, if you love animals, you get triggered a lot. In costume dramas, they always show birds in tiny cages and they play with them with sticks... The worst for me is horses in costume dramas. I always avoid watching them (the horses) because they're almost always skinny. I don't know how much care they have for horses in these drama sets. I hope I just overreact but sometimes... They look bad.

I feel that only the dubbing for Wu Suo Wei is bad. It doesn't feel right. The others are ok. Maybe only Zi Yu didn't dub his character.

I've seen 12 episodes so far. It's slow but very sweet. The chemistry is very good. The rating is because the actress doesn't do kisses so people are mad because in the book it was steamy. But in my opinion, the romance is still working. I don't know about the second half of the drama though. I guess if you don't mind romance without real kiss, try it.

It's really quick, you don't see it happening for real. Just the "order" and the door closes. It will be after he find one of his members who tried to leave after a mistake. It's the "punishment" . You'll know where to skip and then nothing like this happen again in the 4 episodes so far.

Don't worry, I've seen 4 episodes and nothing like that happens again so far. It's even cute and funny. In the comment section, a lot of people don't care about this scene because it's "normal" in Chinese BL (their words). 🤷‍♀️ I agree with you, they could have beaten him up or something but gang rape is traumatising for the viewers. Sometimes it's ok to omit something from a book if it's too much and if it's not logical with the story.

In some "cute" dramas yes but in a lot of Chinese dramas I really love the kisses. It is much better than in Korean dramas in my opinion. The last one was The prisoner of beauty and the kisses, hugs and intimate scenes were just wow.

I find it quite good actually, since it was a forced kiss. There was nothing to really show. But at least there was movement and it looked real.

Yeom Min Hyeok's expressions are really on point though. He acts very well.
