2/3 of the drama was entertaining even if it was cringe and cliché. But after that, it was very boring and unnecessary. FL is manipulated most of the time.
ML and SML are very handsome but it doesn't save the whole drama.

For point 2, in my opinion, as soon as they knew he killed 380 000 innocents, he had to be stopped and killed regardless of his status. Everybody was shocked by the news. For the rest I don't know.

It's a cliffhanger, that's why everybody wants a season 2. It's happy but with a twist. It is really worth the watch anyway. Not a boring moment except episode 1.

10/10! This drama is a gem. Dylan is playing XuQian perfectly. I almost missed it because the 1st episode didn't do it for me but then it was better and better each episode. This drama is hilarious and also moving.
XuQian is one of my favorite characters. Such a nice guy, cheeky, smart, strong, brave, loyal and funny. 🤩

It's more realistic this way. These people had so much power, no suprise if they gone mad and abusing their power. The eunuch just pleases the emperor.

I have no problem with the hair and hairdo and the fact that they are beautiful. Just the part of the men wig that is inaccurate. But I'll stop with this haha.

But it is exactly like other period dramas. It is always like that. I've never seen in real life people with sideburns being part of the hair. Like from the side of the forehead all the way down the bottom of the ear. But maybe it's just me that bothered by that 😅😂

Yes some details are annoying. I've only watched 6 episodes so I think it's gonna improve.

Can someone explain why the sideburns have to be part of the wigs like hair? It doesn't make sense. I juste hate it in every drama. Sometimes they use the real sideburns of the actors and then the wig look natural but this hair implantation is not it. I'm very distracted by that.

This drama grew on me. I like the story and the characters. But it's true that it could have been much better with the quality. It looks cheap. But I'm invested in the story. Let's see.
