I've just finished this drama. What I loved: The kisses, hugs and skinship were amazing. So organic! The music was the best. Energic, inspirational, very fitting. The main leads have the same passion for sport. They are both strong and they both know what to do to get what they want. Sports were fairly represented. You can see what is resilience, and that competition is not for everyone. ML was young and a bit of a puppy. But I liked his energy. Fitting for his age. Even hiw he was a bit obsessed by her is not shocking because he's 18 and she gave him so much special attention at the beginning, he just fell for her 100%. Friendship was important in this drama. I apreciated it. What I disliked: FL was so annoying! She's the older one but doesn't know how to communicate. She should have been more clear with ML since the beginning. Also she was often yelling at him like a mother or big sister. I disliked that she was her coach. To me, age gap was fine but the fact thar she has a power over him is not it. Also I couldn’t really see them as a couple because she didn't change her dynamics with him. It's really a pity because their intimacy scenes were so good. Overall I enjoyed it but I was too frustrated with the FL character and it toned down my enjoyment .
I read some comments saying that ML is immature. He's 18-20 years old so yes, he is a bit immature. But I totally understand him, at least until episode 10 (what I have watched so far) because he was receiving a lot of attention from FL and suddently she changed, so I totally get why he acts this way. Curious to see the following episodes.
Dohoe has such daddy issues, he's calculative and gas-lighting people into guilt and avoiding conversations. I…
The scene at the restaurant had a purpose. DH wants to push JY away. He reminds him of the abuse and he is feeling guilty over what happened when they were young. It's a defense mechanism. I'm not saying he's right but he is broken.
