Wow the intro for episode 2 is beautiful πΌπ₯° And the 2nd episode better than the first. I'm hooked π€ I've read a few comments saying that Kim Young Dae wasn't acting well in this and I disagree, I really love the way he acts his charcater.
For sure, it's not a serious and realistic period drama but why not? Ju Hyun is funny and is perfect for the role of the swindler. I loved her in Zombie detective and here she fits really well. I think it's promising, and I love that there are only 12 episodes. I'm not sure about the SML and how he's going to fit in the story but I can't wait to watch the next episode. I have to say that I found all the jokes quite funny. (the eunuch oneπ€π€π€)
I liked 3/4 of the movie but the last part looks like a Hollywood movie. Too cheesy in the way it's filmed and portrayed. Not humble enough in my opinion and too "in your face". Otherwise the actors were great and the story touching.
What a good surprise! I usually don't watch period drama because I feel anxious and bored with all the conspiracies, traitors, promiscuity etc... But this drama didn't bore me at all and although it's a bit stressfull at time,I was not anxious. It also was an original story with cross dressing. Both the male lead and the female lead. All the actors were great. I particularly loved the main character Nokdu. So lovable. Brave, funny, sweet, sensitive π₯° The actor playing him did an amazing job. π I even had teary eyes at the end because I got attached to the story and the characters. Only thing that bothered me was that they kept too much secrets and too long π₯² but I guess it's needed to have 16 episodes.
The actors really look like the characters in the manhwa. The stoic one always thinking but not showing and the puppy face one. Of course with so short episodes they forgo some scenes but overall it's well portrayed in my opinion.
*his employee's catπ Jungwoo is Uncle's employee
In the episode when Jungwoo misses his mom. I understood that he was really his uncle. When Uncle cooks the omurice he tells Milk that the recipe is from his big sister who is Jungwoo's mom.
