With episode 9 we have solved an ages old mystery of the human condition. Spontaneous Human Combustion. Because…

Wow, did anyone else cry through episode 11? I havenβt cried so much since Until We Meet Again. I have a slight…
I also cried. This episode is really touching and relatable. I have kind of the same relationship with my mom as Nut. I'm still angry most of the time. It's difficult to let go and forgive when you felt rejected and not loved for who you really are. This series is so realistic.
I begun to watch the series on Youtube when it aired. But it was complete nonsense. I learned at episode 3 that the version on Youtube was cut. That's why there seemed to be scenes missing. So I stopped watching. But now, reading some comments, I want to watch the uncut version. It's a pity that they air un uncut version on Youtube without telling people there are many major scenes missing. I hope I like it π€
You can have empathy for someone even if you don't excuse his behaviour. For exemple, Nut touches me. I'm understand…
I agree, physical violence is hard to watch. And yes Taohu doesn't understand that he is not treated well but every day he is more and more conscious of things. But the way the story is told until episode 10, I'm very confident that the issues will be addressed. I hope so ππ»
You can have empathy for someone even if you don't excuse his behaviour. For exemple, Nut touches me. I'm understand him. But I think he shouldn't date Taohu right now because he is toxic. I think he shouldn't hit him. But I wish he would get help and find his peace. I don't think people being touched by Nut's story feel like he is allowed to act this way. I'm convinced that the show will tell us that it's not okay to act like that.
It's my feel good BL drama. It's not perfect but it's my absolute favorite. The main couple is amazing. I like the story, the message, the sweet moments, the humor. First episodes are heavy on sound effects but it's worth watching. To me, it's a very well written show. I keep watching some parts every now and then and it brings me a lot of joy. β€οΈ
Someone needs to explain to me what happened in episode 6 that warranted Gene...
To me, he was not overacting. Gene had just begun to accept that he is gay. He let Nubsib enter in his comfort zone. We saw that it was very difficult for him. And then he learns that Nubsib was lying to him since the beginning and manipulated him. That alone entitles him to feel betrayed. But also, the notion of ''phi nong'' is very important in Asia. He used to consider Nubsib as a young brother and if he had known, he would have never let himself fall for him. Maybe he felt as if he was guilty of incest or something when he discovered the truth. That's why Nubsib did what he did. Because if he came back to Gene as his nong, he could have never got Gene. That's my point of view. Gene is very sensitive and self conscious so it is not a shocking reaction and and it was well explain in episode 7.
This series is so realistic.
