Not to me. That's not what is mean. It just seems like Hua Yong plays the husband cooking and caring for his husband when he comes back from work. That's it. I know they are things outside of the scenes but they should show us why they fell for eachother. It seems Sheng just wants someone pretty and caring and that's it.

They don't do activities. We don't see them having fun together or just laugh. It's all very superficial and knowing that Hua Yong is acting. What is left that is genuine?

Not a BL but a bromance and friendship (2 guys and a girl) is very strong. "Oh no, here comes trouble". Fantasy, mystery, surnatural. Hilarious and also sad because the main theme is grief.
