It's exactly these kind of scenes that are missing usually in BLs. Because it's easy to show 2 guys kiss but it's quite difficult to show intimacy, complicity, affection and deep love. I usually crave for these hugs, looks, love proof and I'm happy.
If they deleted some scenes you can be sure it was not their choices. Maybe after the craziness against the actors…

I have no idea why they made a shorter episode but I think making a BL drama in China must be really difficult and they must have their reason. In the BTS you can see that the directors are really putting their soul in it, so it's not a personal choice.
