I highly recommend it. Two supporting characters die. The season 1 is over, you can watch it. It's like the Kim sabu drama. Season 1 is wrapped and then they had the idea to go for a 2nd season. Also there's no romance in it and it's okay but it's almost impossible not to ship the main leads (even my brother shipped them) bc their chemistry is out of this world, they work really really well together

Your comment reminded me of Secret Forest. I just watched it recently and those 2 deaths got me really sad, I'm not even over that yet :(

I know I know. It's just that right now I can't deal with this one and I probably won't like any of the possible endings (I'm just remembering I stop watching HDL at episode 6 bc I didn't want to see IU's cross the bridge ><). It's not like the drama is bad or anything. It's just my personal taste really

Whether the main girl come back from the dead definitely (which will be utterly unrealistic and ridiculous) or she dies definitely (which will make me sad after 8 weeks bonding with her character) I'll hate the ending of it so I'm dropping it now maybe I'll come back when it ends to see how they wrapped it.

I agree with you that this is not the best drama airing and it's nothing but a lot of tears and ghosts that can or can't touch stuff depending on what director needs ppl to feel but ratings are not being manipulated here. It'll probably update after this week's episode.

Hum I'm watching it for sure BUT if you're not that into it, watch it when you feel like it. Don't force yourself to watch it, really. There's nothing odd about it, it's slow paced but its not boring. Only you have lots of flashbacks, and those long scenes where the leads keep contemplating the things happening around them, lots of quotes from books, they did that thing at the end (like romance is a bonus book and be melodramatic) where they quote their own lines, you know, it's cute. So far they're doing a decent job but it's not a must watch.

Everything in it really feels like one of those western Christmas holiday romcoms only it's 16 hour long. I'm totally in.

Hum i think the subs were available weekly. I mean I don't know korean (also I waited for this to end so I can watch it) but I downloaded subs every week on subscene :v oh I guess it was available on kocowa too

comment section is always like this: if a thing is accepted by majority, its okay, you have a thread thats all fluffy and everyone respect each other etc; but if someone expresses a opinion that is not popular, the gatekeepers come and try to convince the 'someone' otherwise, if 'someone' is ironic the person is rude and should respect opinions that gatekeepers themselves cant respect since they try really hard to prove their point and convince they are right and all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ keep trying to convince me about something I know (character development) and I'll keep being bothered by the way Yi Seo is being racist and transphobic. We'll never reach any conclusion, we'll keep thinking we are right. I never said there's not gonna have any character development, I just asked 'whats with yi seo being all racist and transphobic?' bc I didn't expect her character to be this way and that's it. And I'm really sorry to burst your bubble but if she's gonna have character development about it's bc SHE IS supposed to be racist and transphobic, right? Otherwise we wouldn't need her character to evolve. Good luck gatekeeping ppl who have different opinions :)

wow... are you being paid for this? calling her 'eonni' wasnt natural process and she clearly did it after she found out park saeroyi already knew about it and yes not believing tony because he doesn't ~~~~look korean and he doesn't have the skin color koreans are supposed to have is not racist at all. yes. if the writers are raising these issues and ppl are interpreting things the way you are, i really really fear for humanity

bc i think this is the first realistic comment i've read in this section. idk why ppl overlook obvious stuff just bc they like something so much. i even read someone praising the way they portrayed NK even if it's only fiction and nobody really knows what happens there (and by the little we know about the country, CLOY's NK is also unrealistic). anyways i think we can like stuff AND be skeptical about about it
