WHY WAS PADMAVATHI MOVIE CONTROVERSIAL DURING IT’S PRODUCTION? Several Rajput caste organisations had protested claiming that the film portrays the Padmavati in bad light
Several Muslim leaders protested against the alleged misrepresentation of Ala-ud-din Khilji and called for a ban.
Director and actors were assaulted
So the bottom line is —-
