Well I don't agree with you either, because if you want good writing in a 14 episode rom-com half budgeted Kdrama that's high expectations this are freaking commercial series for the average individual looking for escape from reality, if you want good writing then just go watch (read) a book even Hollywood movies streamed for theaters bored the hell out of me, Ive watched movies and series all my life Im 50+ mostly Americans first and for the last 15 years Asians and Turkish, because I like stories. And I watch them to entertainment never I give too much thought to comedies in particular they supposed to make me laugh, if they have romance to make me swoon, etc. how they do it I don't care....unless is a biopic then I go into details etc.
ps: Also if you dont like i, be it, the example the poster is giving about the papers thrown at the water for me it makes sense if you see it from Darims perspective they worked for days, the notes they all put in there were all there her team her first team, she felt bad not for her but for her team so hell yeah Ill go and catch every single of the papers but Im not Darim lol but anyways not everything is for everybody's taste there are many rom-coms praised for many and I dont like them not the writing because again they all cliches but for me a rom-com works with good execution with the comedy delivery and the chemistry the writing is a plus so far I just go with the flow and Im loving this, for some this might not be their cup of tea just drop it, that's what I do when something doesn't work for me.

He is not pursuing her like that, he is kind of making her want to quit but then circumstances and feelings arise, he fell for her and hard without knowing all of that baggage he thinks she has, so he is hurt, in denial and in love, so give him a break on that for now. So we will have a couple of scenes like that but we audiences know the truth we are not cheering him but we are cool because WE audiences know the truth!

I think the misunderstanding will be cleared somehow next few episodes they need to further develop their love story and they can't keep it with a huge misunderstanding like that. On her part, I think she is afraid to tell him all is a scam because she doesn't really know how he feels and she doesn't know the deep of his feelings for her so she is afraid she might fire her for the scam which we all know won't happen so she is getting deeper and deeper in the lie, but we also have to see the other couple relationship grow so no time for misunderstandings maybe a few episodes and then it will be ok.

but can you point out what is bad writing here? I also have been wathing kdramas for over 15 years all genres, rom-coms being my #1 as I said above, I just enjoy the ride with these ones because it doesn't break my mind, they won't give us nothing new they will just use the same tropes and cliches different way, different actors, different scenarios...I think what we meant is that don't expect nothing much in writing with rom-coms Never Ever KIndustry already have a pattern and they won't break it, its like all Hallmark movies some people have an audience I used to like them but got tired at some point but with rom-coms in Kdramas so far I haven't only if the actors and execution of directing or the production is bad nothing can save the show.
