Yeah I once look her up for a drama because she looked mixed for some reason, but she wasn't to my surprise she major in German language also lived in Germanay. Must be fun they surely practice German together while on breaks

I have asked my Korean/chinese friends about it and they say is cool go ahead, actually the guy that does my tatoos is Chinese and he asked me why I did Korean instead of chinese since most of people does chinese wording or dragons etc that "belong to chinese culture" but half of the world uses it, so i said because the letters are more straight than chinese ones, but I eventually did in chinese. As I said, Im not talking about what is said in articles or videos but what real life people think in the 21st century of cultural appropriation. For me there is isn't the world after the internet has globalized nothing belongs to one country it belongs to the world to see it.

apparently there was also same controversy bec writers are inspired on chinese dramas here and there....i never watched it but ive heard it too. i just f.. love this one and i wish everyone leaves their prejudices aside and enjoy the ride if not drop it go on....

Exactly my point since 3 days ago, chdrama lovers have been so vocal against this drama because the hanbok vs hanfu thing or the scenes stolen from chinese fantasy dramas...come on how many times hollywood had done it? and i don't see complaints......they did mulan they were proud of it but everything goes to hell if korea does it....ugh! what a waste because the drama for my taste is 100% better than the latest chinese fantasy dramas i started watching and drop because of the cheap a... dialogues/CGI

But what is the f... problem? maybe because here in USA we are used to mix cultures is not a bid deal for us and please there is being cultural appropriation since cinematography has existed and people riled up for a fantasy world that doesn't exist just because it is a korean fantasy drama.....please why not get riled up when hollywood does it or any other country? They did Mulan...

Because this nonsense of some netizens for this drama taking stuff from chdramas its being going on for 3 days already like wth is cultural appropriation when used in entertainment for a fantasy world that didn't or doesn't exist? Come on this is Global entertainment not a war Korea vs China, so my use of Qiopo's to go to work and visit my Korean clients being hispanic and living in the USA is that appropriation of chinese culture? Just asking, because I never being accused of it either by chinese or korean clients, I have words in english, hispanic, chinese and korean tattooed in my body is that also culture appropriation? i think we should feel proud of people using our cultures in their own ways.....like I love people eating tacos around the world like I love chinese/korean hot pots/food/noodles the same. im very familiar with both cultures here i have korean and chinese clients and it is so different in here than over there they get riled up over a hanboks vs hanfus give me a break!

i don't mind it is a fantasy world irrelevant, have you seen fantasy world in western cultures, those are athrocities....like Jupiter Ascending had the worst...or Star Wars no one complaint lol so im ok i rather this than bold or long hair in men ....

Actually the good word of mouth and the korean ratings is doing the good job i hope is only a glitche since if you put your cursor in the rating the average should be some how in between 8.4-8.6 but there is also the appropriation theory so we will see.

Same tbh Im not here for the plot as a whole since I would have prefer something different for these 2 young actors, but your choices are my same lol :)

I think they will drag the stalker plot for the main plot for now

1. Dahyun nature, she won't tell her straight up bec she also did something to the brother thats why I think she tells her when they are all together. Also, she doesn't know sister is as crazy as his brother or worst so she just tries to be good to her in the situation. ()ven we us viewers, don't know if she is looking for him bec he is his real brother, what if she is the sister of the girl found murdered she could have been one of his victims.

2. He didn't realize at the moment but he does like 3 mins later, sometimes when you have a conversation with someone you dislike or you want to get away from you just follow the flow and get him out of your way without paying attention to what they saying, but he did snapped out of it and connected the dots like a few mins later.

3. Because he was supposed to be cooking and they want to talk alone, and it is part of the plot that she would be walking alone in those dark alleys Im guessing.

So i dont think they plotholes but more messy writing lol...tbh Im just here to watch moon ga and jin goo bec they both my personal young/child actors becoming actual good actors as adult I would have preffer another genre but the plot seems messy up to this point. This is the only drama in my many years I have made myself watch this far just because of the main leads....

But free Da hyun and family from being murderers....and there are other elements to the thrill/suspense the lost sister case/ he still being a nutcase + "sister" seems the same+most ot the sus neighbors.....but anyways the plot IMO is not that good but is one those dramas that are saved by the main leads well at least for me I keep coming because i love both main leads. And i usually even if I love them but the plot is not convincing i drop it. But for some reason i can't and next episode seems good. :) How are you chingu?

1. I actually think none of the neighbors at least the ones with comic relief are involved in any crime they probably know or there is a mystery in the past or something Im very very sus of the guy that showed up on ep 6 the one that found the lil girl and then they show the lady calling him telling him that Gye Hyon is back. So Mom and Grandma I don't think they have a great mystery or killers or something they just overprotective ahjummas and their behavior is just like Dohyuns to be honest but grown ups.

2. the cookie cop, I think is the childhood friend that told on his dad that is the guy on the streets hence his behavior he probably feels guilty and has anger issues, but the Im not deffending his behavior the pushing friendship with the ML's that's why I have a reason to believe he is not what we think he is, the outburst and fight on the bar or restaurant was a flashback of the cop lady it could have been less and then we only see a hostile personality which 90% of the people in that neighborhood seem to have, and also the 2nd one we see him beating is the woman beater.

As I said i think of all the dramas Ive watched Im pushing myself to watch this not necesarily for the plot since I love mix of genres but this is not working out for me (the first time ever) but because i really wanted to see Moon Ga and Jin Goo in a drama together but i would have rather wish them in a thriller real one or a full dramatic drama...they both good actors i think Moon Ga can do all genres and Jin Goo for my taste I think comedy is not his forte tho...like I like the scenes with his mom and how he has to hold it like he does those scenes effortless or end of episode 5 where he really cried for himself for once....but let's see next week....
