Well is not really period /historical like the regulars, is more fantasy period since it is base off a magical world ala wuxia style. Even the wardrobe is different and I love it.

Exactly, it is how a drama should be set the foundation so we know, I also liked 2 things, main lead knew about female lead switch since the get go and fl found out about who was the real villain and how she was just a tool for him. So I loved it....now we can move forward to the duo adventures and the friends I bet they will also will form a group or new sect in that world they all seem goodies we will have to see the girl that Jang Uk dumped tho lol

Yup Im already hooked by the intro so there is nothing else that can wrong lol a world of possibilities in a fantasy land full of magic, power struggles and THE PLOT I mean the mage heirs story as well.

on first episode we got hanging why he did what he did (father) in Second episode it shows when they were going back switching souls the crazy king told Jang Kang that if the wife conceives it was his son, and she died giving birth so probably he was pshychologically damaged at that time, and also remember in alchemy of souls genetics and soul transferred body and soul are two separate things I know it doesn't really makes sense but that's the world they live in. So Im also guessing even if he is a Jang he also has royal soul in him, he is actually the heir to the throne in Duho world.

I like wuxia but my cons were exactly that low budgeted hence the quality. I think Im digging this since I love fantasy drama, and I don't recall a wuxia like in kdrama historical fantasy.

I think Jang kang is gone far away nothing to do with whats going on presently he did sorcery black magic if the mage know he would be spelled tho

Watch 2nd episode thankfully they didn't drag it, I love the pace of this

There are so many, Naksu's and Jin Wook's as well, I mean what the father did regardless was not good also, he is actually the heir to the throne. If real genetic father disregarded him as his son and left him, it means in Duho world the switch of souls was something that mage used to do and the king used it to get a heir so Im guessing this will also be a plot device and the crown prince is evilish and might be another villain.....so there is a lot of possibilities to make this a great fantasy drama. OMG I see the guy that was the funniest in Vincenzo he will also be a master here it will be ridicolously funny to watch this.....

Im not too familiar with them watched 2 or 3 of their work and I like not love it....But this is a hit for me already Ill be camping here for as long as it lasts

Yay my Weekends are booked with this drama, is more than what I expected if they keep it going like first 2 episodes or more count me in anyways a drama like this always hooks me at hello so Ill be camping here all summer.......LOVE EVERYTHING.!!!!!!!!!

PS: I haven't seen Jae Wook since Extraordinary you and So Min in Bec this is my firs life.....and tbh with you OMG their chemistry is so good I also like they both are so talented actors, they can switch without cringy from comedy, to angst, to thrill, to romance and back to bad ass.....so Im glad they got cast as main leads.....a drama like this can have everything but it is not a good drama when main leads don;t have that special "it" and I see it here....
