Exactly, I think he does good in that king of roles or in period pieces, I also watched the king clown and that required romantic scenes everything else was good but the chemistry wasn't there IMO never watched Hotel de Luna but Ive heard he lacked in that department as well, I just hope hope for the kdrama Gods MGY might help him get that out of him because she has chemistry with every male lead they throw at her regardless of age in True Beauty she got the fandom rallied up bec she had mad chemistry with both male leads, same in Tempted and if I remember well in the first job I saw her was jelausy incarnate as support part and there were also 2 guys lol so maybe she creates a miracle since like with CEW from TB she knows YJG from before so we see some sparkles, and I can't wait to see Min Jae on my screen again he got me craving for his characters after Dali.....

Exactly the seasonal generic thing...I loved it when i was done with a drama and then the next one I loved more....I mean yes I would love the dramas to become seasonal but that was the beauty of kdramas no cancellation regardless of how popular or ratings we had our 16, 20, 32, 50 or 100 episodes and boom done with it....until next best thing so lets wait and see they seemed to be shorter but seasonal in western outlets....

Romance and comedy is a given for Kim Min Jae the boy has the charms, Even in action (a little here in Dali and other dramas Ive seen) and also he does good in angst and serious roles in Brahms and Tempted I saw that part he was my favorite character with Moon Ga Young in the latter and itis funny now Moon Ga has a project coming with Jin Goo, let's see that's when YJG will prove to me bec MGY is like KMJ chamaleons they good in every genre at least IMO.

Yeah I guess now big cable shows for korean actors got replaced by Netflix since it show case them international specially for those who speaks fluently english can land a role for the big global audiences, guess our little underground kdrama following is starting to get global attention....I just hope it doesn't change my craving for it as they get more popular to the audiences......

I know there is nothing in Kdrama coming like that not in November tho....and their mostly historical which Im not too fond of...Ill have to watch some chinese they are light hearted unfortunately not as well as the korean but it would do.....for the heaviness that is coming our way lol

I will actually watch if they are paired for second couple because I would love them together they are so good in comedy as they are in drama....love them both...

Ill watch just for the second couple if they get to be no triangles please bec i love them both Ji Hoon and Won Hee they both are good in comedy .... remember the first time I liked her she was paired with Kim Seon Ho in Delivery man there's where I love both of them, and the Ji Hoon who would not love that man....

The clinginess in Moo Hak is real maybe a way of Dali to set boundaries lol but they can't the struggle was real that eye flip in the kitchen when they were all in the restaurant and he was with the chefs got me rolling laughing....

Lmao...the doppleganger in them was real physically now acting wise.....I used to think Yeo Jin Goo was better but now I've realized Kim Jae does drama, action and comedy top notch....but Jin Goo still has to prove me more in comedic time.....like Min Jae is a genius

I haven't read so much about in deep because I was just smitten by his charms, but for what you said maybe as Kim Bum they dont crave attention and the big roles, just have a way of living and enjoying what they do.....well known names were added to his line up let's hope!

oh I was about to ask i saw their photoshoot and they looked adorable I know some ppl don't like romance in dramas, I need it even if it is subtle but is needed

Well he is also in Money Heist Korean version and I think is Netflix original too... I love this man...but it seems he will be support role.

Hyun his eyes, his dimples, his wisdom, posture he is fun but lovable I hope he doesn't become evilish later on

They really got me the struggle was real with these 2.....lmao one week apart caused all this chaos in their lives nothing more dramatic to explain their relationship so true since they fell for each other I love it....this drama was by far my favorite Korean rom-com this year...Kim Min Jae was perfect as Moo Hak he definitely has a great range in acting...........love his character and obviously Da Li.....a drama I highly reccommend......

I skipped the chenaningas of the museum, some of the cousins, and moo hak family but I think after episode 8 or 10 I haven't skipped a thing.

I knowwwwwww I barely ever ever have second male lead syndrome bec I love my first male, but it happened in True Beauty I was all for SuHo and damn got carried away with Seo Jun and now when I thought everything was good I got second male with Hyun and third male with Ga On......for some moments I get irritated by Rowoon character lmao....

ohh you mean the one he thought was a maiden in the forest, he was prob smitten not in love he just saw her once and she was beautiful but nothing else, and then out of concern since he might thought she was dead or something.
