That's why I don't understand the outrage yes he was a show stealer and cute at that once he joined the "good side" but his death was foreshadowed from before he always was mistreated by the hyung brother even KDY felt depressed at how mistreated his character was until he found the light and for Vincenzo weakness was there he had to choose who to protect the most even shielded her when they were fighting......so I cried obviously but the drama had so many people that shouldn't have died......but they did for the purpose of the plot!

That's what I thought the whole time, it was the first time he acted reckless and had no back up plan he just drove off and he knew he could lose everything even when JJW told him she was still alive on the phone he had a sense of relief and rushed more to them without a back up plan and he didn't even know JHS was captured to until, again I think as you said the writer wanted to show us that Vincenzo was a villain but his soft spot was HCY since he has lost all the people he loved he didn't want to risk that too, and I assume that's what director and writer wanted to show he didn't care about the brothers at that point just keep HCY safe once she was safe he could fight back that's my opinion to be honest I love KDY and also his character development but I knew he wasn't going to have a happy ending more of joining the Vincenzo team which I enjoyed a lot....that's why I'm not that outrageous at the outcome, even the ending I don't think he wanted to leave HCY behind but it is the realistic way in his world he can't have attachments ......
As Song Joon Ki has said it many times the actor himself got emotional letting Vincenzo go, so how are we simple people addicted to dramas will keep on after this amazing drama.....he broke down in tears 1.13 while filming last scene and also in many of the scenes....he really enjoyed this drama like any other I can tell, and I wasn't even a fan what you think all Song Joon Ki fans he now looks in a happier place for what I have seen from him in the last few years........
I was a little upset only because his character became cute towards the end but I saw his death coming and tbh…
Exactlyyyyy my thoughts he was debating at that point but obviously he was going to protect Cha Young He was actually there bec of her unarmed without a plan out of fear for her life, so whatever went down between the brothers could put Cha Young in moe harm his only purpose was to take ChaYoung out of there unharmed, once the brother flew and saw ChaYoung was ok he went to Han Seo I think no wrong or bad on how they executed that scene tbh........it was part of Vincenzo character his only attachment at that room was Cha Young he did warn Han Seo to flee since the brother was going to target him first, he didn't listen also once the brother was killed he was going to take that fall for the brother so things were not goning to end good forhim...so what people were expecting? Anyways I just hope we were clown and his death wasn't official and he is in the Vincenzo healing island.....
Omg with all the people sobbing ove someone death.....he knew he had it coming anyways...why the shock? I only care for him when he started becoming attached to Vincenzo other than that remember he was in the villains team......

It was realistically ended, he is a criminal after all doing good deeds but still a criminal, like Cha Young put it one day, if he was a murderer he would be in this other world she won't be able to reach.....so that's why he hides he said it he can't change....for me it was satisfying.....Chayoung became from being a selfish brat to a understandable mafia lover.......

Im not an obsessed SJK fan since I only watched him here wasnt never inerested in his previous work, but I can tell you he embodied Vincenzo 100% but I disagree with you about he carrying the show. The show was carried by everyone involved including his co-lead she did an amazing job being a newbie and younger actress she showed she was his equal IMO also all the support characers everyone had his time to shine and that's what makes this drama special.
I think the thing I hate the most is the lack of effort in chayoung and how they make her useless in the last…
I disagree with you everyone in this drama had a spotlight and Chayoung shone....sorry but that girl was shining throughout this drama......eventho the drama was called Vincenzo....it wasn't only about him they were stuck to each other like glue...but at the end she couldn't really be part of the human slaughtering Vincenzo was going to create and I think that was a clever way to put her at ease or else she would have ended dead as well.
The ratings are RIDICULOUS. Are we just rating based on the pretty faces? Because this is tge only explanation…

he was a suppor character, all villains got punished one way or anoter even if he got redemption and stole our hearts he was meant to be killed by the brother it was a tic toc thing and he knew it that's why he stayed even when Vin told him to leave
