I think IMO it wasn't about being gay/straight but what the dude represented and they still make it funny. But I understand the point of view of the poster.

oh ok probably is something close to you and as a gay person it directly offended you, I just found it funny even forgetting how awful the guy was, I just thought his prejudice was normal coming from a straight man and raised in Italy, I live in the USA, NJ/NY area which is very normal to see gay couples but I know in Korea is still taboo I actually had a Korean friend that was born there and grew here in the USA he hasn't come out but Im pretty sure he is gay but because family and he practices catholicism he still keeps the topic to himself. So I was just seeing it from the comedic side as a straight woman.

because it is Korea they couldn't make a whole plot with a gay character and make it romantic bec the backlash....if it was from a country were homosexuality is accepted openly I'd agree with you but Im actually shocked they make the whole thing even as a comedy appear like a novela for the sake of the drama...again that's my opinion!

Doesn't dark comedy tackles serious topics with comedy that happens often gay people are not inmune of psycopath behaviors they just tackle it and approach the character as gay they would have make it a straight guy beating up women or a woman liking women and Cha Young would have been the person to lure him/her she would show the same disgusting face as Vincenzo because she wouldn't feel comfortable......is not about gay/straight people, it is comedy and it was hillarious....even as I said could have been straight man or a woman.....the results would be the same IMO

Well that depends on the eye of the beholder....I found it my cup of tea!!!!!!!! Your prof/pic drama put me to sleep on the first episode...but to each its own...Also, Ive been watching dramas for years wasn't attracted to SJK or the writer'nim but this got me hooked I can't do nothing on weekends the mixed of genres is now my cup of tea!

noooooooo the genre has comedy...its a mixed of everything watch up to episode 4 and you will make your own decission that's how the rest of the episodes are going to be...at least up to episode 8 is the same mixed of genres.....

who is homophobic,? it is normal nature reaction + is dark comedy, Vincenzo is a straight character obviously he would feel umcomfortable pretending to be homo.... also, he is someone related to his mom framed murder, but to answer your question, Im a straight woman and would feel umcomfortable filirting with another woman for X reason, I actually found it hillarious they could incorporated the whole line in one episode it was top notch I think it would have been homophobic if Cha Young would have forced him to do and also show homophobia but she was enjoying it like we all did and both were drooling at Vincenzo while he was riding the horse in slow motion....it is dark comedy, the guy was a psycopath beating his male victims that couldn't come forward, and straight or homo he deserved what he had coming....

OMG I loved the end when that b.... Choi whatever just said your father she changed from comedy to drama in a clicked that's good acting, also how Vincenzo knew that would trigger her and protected her and the way they embraced each other while walking out together and smiling at each other OMO my Chayenzo heart they are so comfortable together i guess there is no turning back that man will not leave this woman alone.....he can say all he wants but that's pure love all he does for her lmao......

As I said the pace of the drama, one so so episode the next one OTT action packed or comedy packed, this was just unexpectedly funniest ever!
