This is absolutely amazing. MDL rating is useless as usual. Thank god I trust the comments more than the ratings.
Yup I usually go by my guts rather than ratings, but this drama was praised all weekend long this was 8.9 on Sunday night but after the cultural controversy of the hanfu vs hanbok started everything went down.
go ahead is awesome drama....Dont mind the ratings this was 8.9 on Sunday night but after the cultural controversy of the hanfu vs hanbok started everything went down.
7.1 really? This is pretty interesting from the first 2 episodes and I'm eagerly awaiting for the 3rd! I just…
Dont mind the ratings this was 8.9 on Sunday night but after the cultural controversy of the hanfu vs hanbok started everything went down...but the drama in my point of view is awesome and many think the same
same that happened thre but it was Park Hae Jin haters that time, and now this time is the chdrama vs kdrama cultural…
I have no idea it is going on since Sunday......but they just making people check out the drama it was all good up until sunday afternoon here in the USA everything was so possitive but Monday morning everything went havoc about the costume, wuxia, hairdos etc.
Oh come on! Don't compare Lovers of the Red Sky to this copy shit. Lovers of the Red Sky was unique and Korean…
ive seen the first episode but dropped, I usually just moved on from something I dont like, "Ive hear it was a flop" from news twitter etc. that's why Im asking since you are comparing the both.....
There was one outfit (very flowy, worn by Jin Cho Yeon [Jinjyowon], when they released the beast to hunt her down)…
Exactly, Ive been of the first ones watching this drama saying how the drama resembles wuxia/xianxei elements but that for me is not cultural appropriation more like I got inspired by it and decided to write something like that ughh but with better acting, CGI, etc. tbh
there is a 'glitche" i just have dejavu from 3 dramas in a row
yeah just find out I just posted about it look what someone attacked my posts for this drama lol I thought it was a glitche but there are actually haters to the drama
"Let me tell you, this drama copied Chinese wuxia dramas. There has never been a wuxia drama in Korea. The screenwriter of this drama copied from many Chinese dramas. Each drama plagiarizes a part, and this is not the first time they have plagiarized
If Korean screenwriters want to copy martial arts dramas, well, you can copy them, but at least don't copy Chinese hanfu and tell others it's Hanbok. Do you think hanbok looks like those in the dramas?
obviously is not the same as chdrama different cultures, but some similarities, but name me one fantasy Kdrama…
well you feel that, there is a wave in Twitter about the drama totally different lol one even attack the drama and the writing to get the wuxia/xianwen elements:
"Let me tell you, this drama copied Chinese wuxia dramas. There has never been a wuxia drama in Korea. The screenwriter of this drama copied from many Chinese dramas. Each drama plagiarizes a part, and this is not the first time they have plagiarized.

Just found the glitches (haters) in twitter, some Ch netizens. Im guessing this is what is going on one of the replies I got to my posts about the drama, one even put the alchemy scene vs whatever dhdrama scene even Mulan (rolling eyes). uGH THEY better not start with their Sh.... about cultural apropiation because I really love this drama

This year it is the 3rd drama I like with the same 'glitch" problem it will get fixed eventuallly, let me go to twitter to find the love for this drama
Dont panic it is "a glitch" it will get fixed put your cursor in the ratings: Currently watching 8.66 Verified users 7.87 Even the average doesn't make sense but we wait......3 drama with this glitch in a row :/ ratings vs positive feeds in comments don't make sense.
It might be because I have seen many fantasy Kdramas before but I feel like the only one who doesn't think this…
obviously is not the same as chdrama different cultures, but some similarities, but name me one fantasy Kdrama like this, because honestly I haven't seen one Korean drama. Ive seen historical vampires, nine tailed, etc. including korean folklore but never magic sects in an alternate fantasy world.....
