Lots of great ones on the list.

A lot of this is cultural. I know that in parts of South East Asia including Thailand the kidnap & rape thing was one way to be able to marry someone you might not otherwise be able to marry. Also they have another word for something like playful force that gets translated as "rape" but really isn't. GMMTV has a lot of lakorn that has actual kisses, is cutesy, not too many bad second lead females and "rape" is a rarity.

Mek & Mild are one of my favorites. Loved them in both Ugly Duckling: Don't and Kiss The Series.

What about My Beautiful Bride or Bad Guys? Both of those were really good.

And so many of us are watching for just that reason. Sung Swoon gives the best fan service.

Awesome first episode. Very breezy and fun flow of the story unlike most of OCNs dramas which are very dark & gritty and filled with blood & death. Loved all the happy colors and especially the car scene and the very romantic nod of consent. Great job on your first rom-com OCN!

I kind of helps the authors to be more creative rather than just focus on sex and violence like American television shows. I like the fact that the dramas tend to be more about getting to know each other during the dating process rather than jumping right into bed or about resolving relationship issues once couples are married.

Some times it is a bit silly but I always feel safe watching most Korean dramas with my kids around. We shut off American TV because it just didn't line-up with our family values.

They're subbing The Gentle Vet now and once that is over this one will start. I'm thinking second week of September since the vet one is only 4 episodes long.

And here I'm thinking Painful to watch as in it almost killed me because I was crying so hard and that would be "It Happened in Bali" and "I'm Sorry, I Love You" at the top of that list.

There are subs now and it's really cute.

Warning: What Happened in Bali is a good one but it needs to be watched with caution as it can kill you. It's not for the weak of heart.

The main reason I don't watch a lot of jdramas is that I can't find them subbed on legal sites.

That's part of the reason I think they can be so addictive. You just have to go where they take you and enjoy the ride or not.
