The novel was published in 2024. It was more their love for each other and their appreciation of each other was enough for them until their wedding night which Peem then learn how much he enjoyed their night together.
This right here! He has embodied the character from the book so well! I don't understand the hate either! Namping's…
I don't either but here I can tell exactly what he is thinking! I'm the worst at figuring out people's emotions in real life let alone on screen. Here he is doing such a good job I know exactly what he is thinking!

Novel spoilers from here: Granny was already dead when Ramphueng possessed her body. One of Peem's spirit children saves Khem but ends up disappearing (crossing over). Asks the other child what he wants and decides to join his brother. Khem takes the blame initially for Granny dying and after the funeral goes back to Bangkok on his own behind everyones back. Charn & Jet find out he left and follow him back to Bangkok. Charn & Jet stay with Khem through his birthday. He try to protect him from the curse anyway they can including getting a spirit house for the apartment building he lives in. In a dream the serpent (from the cave) comes to Peem and tells him something (the book doesn't really say) but he gets up calculates and figures out that Grannies body was possessed after her death. He goes to Bangkok to find Khem 2 days before his birthday, he finds him (this is where he confesses in the novel & Jet wakes up inturrupting their 1st kiss. Peem sends Jet & Charn to speak with Khem's dad about finding a family airloom that could be related to the curse, Peem & Khem go finding that Monk they mentioned in this episode. Ramphueng had her baby thrown into the river as she was the 3rd wife to someone higher up in the government while she was originally a beautiful slave. The 1st wife couldn't get pregnant, the 2nd wife gave him a girl but he wanted a boy so he married Ramphueng and she gave him a boy but he was gone on business, so the 1st wife took the baby hours old and threw it into the river. Khem and his mother were decendants of the 2nd wife and daughter who went along with the 1st wife's story about Ramphueng throwing her baby into the river on her own instead of the 1st wife because they had to live under the same roof and were threatened but Ramphueng went after those who turned her story into something else, that's how she went after the 1st born male from that family. Back to the main story, Peem is able to find the monk, who happens to be a descendant of her son who was killed. The Monk is able to get her to not take Khem saying he will go with her as her son while Peem is fighting off spirits trying to go after Khem. This ends the curse. From there Peem tells Khem to go and enjoy his life, do what he wants to do and when he is ready to come back to him as he will be waiting for Khem. Khem finishes college, Peem gives him a car and money for graduation. Khem, Jet & Charn go visit Khem's father where his father tells Khem Peem has been waiting long enough, don't keep him waiting anymore. Peem went to visit his dad at some point and spoke with him about Khem. Khem goes to Peem but still wants to be able to provide for him so it takes 9 years from when they 1st met until they get married. 2 years before getting married Khem has a dream about 2 orbs. This is a recurring dream, Peem told him he had good meaning. They went to an orphanage where they find twins that remind them of the spirit twins, which they adopt and name after granny and the spirit child they lost fighting Rampheung. They don't have sex together until their wedding night. They also don't say "I love you" until their wedding night either. If you have questions, let me know! It's a good story!
finally we will get back story of Ramphueng in next episode. and i must say its really one of the BEST BL EVER!!
If we are getting the story behind Ramphueng we should also beat the curse as that happens at the end of the story in the novel which will leave more time for the special chapters in the book!
That scene is directly from the book. They changed a lot of things this episode but, that is part of the book story still. Granny Si was already dead when Rhampueng possessed her body.
I agree with you, there’s no reason we can’t enjoy both couples.Since this show is rated R18+ on iQIYI, the…
All of this!! I actually get annoyed by the people complaining about the lack of NC scenes or even when done, if not to their liking, they are all complaints! I love the stories which makes me come back! I loved this book and the drama is just as good in a different way! I also love the stories mentioned above you mentioned because the stories were so good!
i didn't read the novel so if someone read it can you tell me what is the exact ages of them in novel because…
In the novel they were freshmen in college making them 18-19. Here they have them already 20 turning 21. In the novel it was Khem's 20th birthday karmic death by instead of 21 here. In the novel they waited until their wedding night to sleep together and say I love you for the 1st time which was in the special chapters. Khem was 29 when they got married in the novel too meaning he waited 9 years after meeting Khem for him to be ready to settle down with him. Khem was also told by Peem though to go out and do what he wanted to do, see what he wanted to see, he would be there waiting for him when he was ready.
book readers...could you please give a spoiler for todays ep! (with the spoiler button thingy on ofc)
I'm too late, but I can tell you the fair is the only part of the book from today's episode. The rest of the episode was different from the novel. Jet & Charn doesn't happen, Khem doesn't turn down Pong in the novel until later. Peem also doesn't say any of the stuff he said at the end until much later in the novel. In the novel Peem & Khems 1st kiss written out at least, wasn't until the end of the prolog. Jet & Charn had their own special chapter at the end where they got together finally. It does look they will follow a little of their storyline from the novel based on the preview though, still.
I can tell you next episode according to the book should have the grandma pass away and get possessed by Khems Spirit Curse, Ramphueng which causes Khem to be blamed for it, one of the kids finally crosses over trying to save Khem from Ramphueng, They have Grandma's funeral and Khem leaves to go back to school not wanting to bother anyone anymore with his Karma. We can see how much of that they will still follow.
This one hit especially hard as a single soon-to-be-40 as well especially since I don't have a Keishi to chase…
I'm single and 45 no kids, another one who relates to this well! Also don't have a Keishi to chase me either. Those of us older single ones relate to this much better than the younger crowd.

In the book both avoid each other to the point where Peem even uses an invisibility spell to get meals so it looks like he’s not eating to Khem after this point still too.
I just finished reading the book and while they both have feelings for each other, it wasn't until the 2nd to…
In the book it wasn't written very well in my opinion so maybe the script will be better. In the book Jet, Khem & Chan go back to school after an event that left Khem blaming himself and Peem also seemed to blame Khem for the grandma's death in the village along with one of the Spirit kids, so Khem left on his own after that with Jet and Chan following. Jet & Chan try their best to protect Khem from his spirit Karma which was a week before his birthday on their own. Peem had a dream 2 days before Khem's birthday which prompted Peem to wake up do some calculations and realized Grandma didn't die from Khem's spirit Karma, so Peem packs his stuff and goes to Bangkok to find Khem in the middle of the night, once he finds them, he uses his magic to open the door and wakes Khem up telling him they were meant to be together in this life time. Then they deal with Khem's spirit Karma problem (end of the actual book). After that Peem tells Khem to go out and experience life, do what he wants to do, then when he's ready to come back to Peem as he will be waiting for him. He comes back after graduation and the prolog ends with them kissing.

Depending on how well they continue to follow the novel, it's still going to take some time for them to get together because of other events that occur.
Khem in the novel is very timid, but very caring like he is in the drama. Namping isn't showing the timid side as much as the novel shows. It could be how to was directed through. Khem doesn't want to burden anyone with his Karmic problems. He doesn't want anyone to get hurt from it or any problems to arise for others because of it.
