I just can't. I read the manga countless times and I always cry. And then, with this Director version, I cry again with this sublime end. The story is completed and it's so beautiful.

I completely understand your point of view and I believe that the problem with this series is precisely the reactions of the characters who are not at the same level. Ton is extreme, as I said rude and caricatural, no doubt to make his homophobia pass more "easily" may I say. While the other characters are sometimes funny sometimes just normal and light which creates a general imbalance in the series.

Agreed ! People want realistic shows but when they do, they scream. So the characters are caricatures in TonHon but their behavior doesn't shock me. There are really people who are mysogines, homophobes and racists in real life. I have a friend who was in the closet for 10 years because he was afraid of his family's and friend's reaction.
And maybe Ton is gay, but he was forced to adopt this dense male behavior because he is afraid of his father's reaction; Would he rather be a caricature than accept what he is ? We'll see.

P'Klui is an insignificant character ine the book 1. And I think he's even not in the book 2 (if I remenber correctly). I don't know why he is in S2. Maybe to fill some episode ?

Techno has a brother named Technic (who played a big part in No's relationship with his BF Kengla)

I am pleasantly surprised by this 1st episode. It's like putting on a super comfy pair of slippers.
Jimmy's and Tommy's acting had really improved... The story makes sense and I appreciate that it doesn't go all over the place but that it's a real logical sequel to Why R U.
Production and editing are still good.

So refreshing! A very promising and captivating first episode. No unnecessary scenes. Tul has quite a charisma.
I had the feeling, however, that things were set up really quickly, but I didn't feel lost either.
The secondary characters are well defined, the technical means are there and the production is good. The filming location is just sublime.
I'm already hooked!

On Twitter, they talked about a "fake couple" plot for the leads and a story of stepbrothers for the side couple. And the girl is the fujoshi in MODC.

Now that you say it, indeed, Phungun may appear in the novel but I think that's really insignificant. But like you, it's been a while since I read the novel ^^

So Techno's boyfriend is Kengla and you can see their story in LBC 1 and 2. And yes they end up together and i won't comment on their story which the worst in LBC universe. Phugun is a new character who does n't exist in the novel. I think he and Cir are here to replace Tar and Tum, who play a significant role in the novel. I don't remember that Thorm hates Techno ... It's more Kengla who doesn't like Type because he knows that Type sees through his little game ...
