I'm with you on this one. This is exactly what I like. And yes, that tension in the last part. It was really well shot.

Well, it was cute but it sucked. I have lost count of the number of times I have rolled my eyes. The actors were pretty good. But please, give me some consistency to this story and not just that mushy thing that would give anyone diabetes. There were ways to do a lot better without getting too tired. I'll see about the next episode.

I like it. It gives me a slice of lice vibe that I really enjoy. I think the pace is good for the story. It's pretty contemplative but I don't mind that. We just follow these characters through their daily lives, whether it's hard or not. I really like the OST, very chill too

I think this scene is a mix between what really happened and Li Cheng's dream. Mu Ren is dressed in the bathtub (while he undressed in reality and it's not the same clothes). But at the same time, Li Cheng says that he was there the whole time Mu Ren was "ventilating". So...

I am of the same opinion. This episode seemed to me very long and very conventional. And I feel that in the last episode, Tian will keep leaving and finally stay 5 minutes at home and finally come back to the village.
It's a pity to end on such a conventional ending.

Yeah, I also wonder if Ruka is dead. It's not so obvious (but I think so). Anyway, everybody is completely creepy in this movie. Bwahahah. It's just a mess !

They will certainly use the extras chapters of Pornographer and Mood Indigo but the story is based on the 3rd volume called Ponographer Playback too.

I just can't. I read the manga countless times and I always cry. And then, with this Director version, I cry again with this sublime end. The story is completed and it's so beautiful.

I completely understand your point of view and I believe that the problem with this series is precisely the reactions of the characters who are not at the same level. Ton is extreme, as I said rude and caricatural, no doubt to make his homophobia pass more "easily" may I say. While the other characters are sometimes funny sometimes just normal and light which creates a general imbalance in the series.

Agreed ! People want realistic shows but when they do, they scream. So the characters are caricatures in TonHon but their behavior doesn't shock me. There are really people who are mysogines, homophobes and racists in real life. I have a friend who was in the closet for 10 years because he was afraid of his family's and friend's reaction.
And maybe Ton is gay, but he was forced to adopt this dense male behavior because he is afraid of his father's reaction; Would he rather be a caricature than accept what he is ? We'll see.
