I totally agree with you. Also, after watching this series, I may want to change my life style and being more open. I am now at the stage of not being in love, and thinking that I will stay single for life. After watching this series, I really want to find my own Kurosawa or Adachi.
Does anyone think Fujisaki is an interesting character? I can relate to her a lot, especially as an Asian girl. I remember my family always tell me to find a man and get marry. I like the way you think about intimacy. I don't know about other people, as for me, I can understand why Kurosawa has to be thoughtful when he's around Adachi. I can relate a lot to Adachi. If Kurosawa just suddenly being intimate (physically) to Adachi, he would scare the innocent Adachi away (that's what I used to be, once the guy began to be a bit touchy, I ran away, back hiding in my shell).
I think it is also a cultural thing too. Does Kurosawa want to be intimate with Adachi? Yes he does. Does Kurosawa want to flirt a lot with Adachi? Of course he does. If Adachi is a woman, thing will be so much easier, Kurosawa will not think twice about wooing him once he has a crush on him. However, Adachi is a man, and that what make Kurosawa hesitate a little bit.
Also, Adachi is so pure and inexperience. Everything is new to Adachi, from holding hand to having a date. Kurosawa want to experience all the first times with Adachi, I think that's a cute thought too.
