Well the drama tried.
If i didn't read the novel, most parts of the drama would have been just a prop in the play that didn't feel anything.

Skate into love, LLAG and YAMG are the only three dramas on par with the novel. Skate into love held a fresh vibe while LLAG and YAMG were filled with aesthetic cinematography which the novel couldn't deliver and a little bit of emotion comedy. Thou i prefer the novel, in all cases, those dramas did good. They had a lot of potential even if they didnt give fine detailing which is not possible in dramas

Exactly. All of the kdramas i hv seen dont show the actual essence of the webtoon. Forget the hard-core stuff, even the actual reason for certain things have been omitted. SO i am really really skeptical.

SO basically the ML's brother hired FL to act as his wife cause he is gay and a chaebol. Marriage is important but he doesn't want to be controlled by it so he offers FL to act as his wife forever in return for cash. ML finds out about this and starts torturing FL thinking she is a gold digger until he falls for her. But the good thing is ML is gold so its an amazing plot

Its not that well shown cause it was just a push up to the actual story and for the romance. Just a side ploy thats it

i get so much but what does the movie try and convey? I get that they want to find a place in this world but this movie just shows Yuddy finding hid place and charming his way with others and ruining them. it got confusing in the end.
"You see how everyone tries to find their place in the world, but most of all the naiveté of young love and the hope for a better future."
These lines made more sense than the entire movie.

I like the manhwa better cause the drama is short and it doesn't explore the inner thoughts of both the character which is seen in the manhwa. A lot.
The manhwa is hotter too so.........
But one improvement is Sangchoo's character, he feels human in this drama. Maybe cause he is actually a human in the drama , not a 2D drawing?
Also the actors are *chef's kiss*

Yes, it is funny but like consider Sweet Home, the plot was same but there were numerous changes even then it was exciting.
Same with My Roommate is a Gumiho.
I dont mind altering the ending if it makes everyone happy.
Oh yes, Sound of Magic did a pretty decent job being faithful to the webtoon with very less changes.

I agree to an extent. As a manhwa/ webtoon reader, it does hurt.
But look on the bright side, some of the webtoon-based dramas are good. Personally, I feel if the exact same plot of the webtoon is followed in the drama, the essence of the drama will be shadowed by the webtoon. So changing the plot a little is excusable.
The selection of the webtoon is something I find funny. Like there are so many webtoons that have a mind-blowing plot that is actually budget-friendly and entertainment filled and yet they choose complicated ones. Not that the ones chosen are bad, it's just a pity.

Park Min Young looks like every professional white-collar female worker aka boss bish FL in every manhwa.
