But it is not repentance.
Jin Do Joon's whole life is the unconscious period of Yoon Hyun Woo.
Let's just say he read enough about Soonyang, and knew enough of the future, that he was able to live as Do Joon. But...

Yoon Hyun Woo can't possibly fill all those details in Jin Do Joon's life.
In that sense, Yoon Hyun Woo is the real Jin Do Joon. Because at the ending scene, even Seo Min Young's memories matched with what he did as Do Joon.
And he couldn't possibly have know about Ha In Suk's existence. He recognised him right away during the hearing.
Or even the the fact that Jin Do Joon's fiance was Seo Min young. They never revealed their relationship in the past.

It's like Jin Do Joon is existing bcz of what Soonyang did to Yoon Hyun Woo.

Well I don't know, if we need to have answers for our problems, bcz after all this was a fantasy drama.
