My thoughts on this drama.The drama seems interesting. The plot is appealing and mysterious. And .... Spoilers
Well their financial situation is believable. Their house is very under privileged. Even though older sisters have good jobs, they aren't able to reach a higher level because of their debt. It's almost always debt what causes poverty in a kdrama. ( That's the trend I guess). But of cause there are some plot holes. Like who owns an iPhone if they are so poor? They could have probably fixed all their windows with that. (No offense btw)
And the youngest behaviour seems typical youth problems. I do understand why she feels that way. But she's going overboard. And I must say the 2 older sisters are EXTREMELY patient with her. I mean EXTREMELY patient for an Asian family.
Their mother's behaviour is idk. She's too naive at times. Their parents is the reason for their suffering. Like what mother takes off with the money like that?
But the drama somehow manage to grab the audience attention and relate to them. Probably most of us have experienced the things shown in the drama one way or the other. Btw plot is very interesting. I love it being a mystery. But I'm glad this is a 12 ep drama.
Well I do have some questions though. Like who the hell takes 2 billion won on a backpack everywhere they go? You must be crazy. And Choi Do Il. How can Oh In Joo trust him like that? He's basically a stranger to her. (I'm just nitpicking here) And at last they find out about the orchid to connect the dots.
But the bigger problem is why do writers always have to introduce us to a chaebol / super rich / super famous characters. Can't there be a drama with ordinary people? I'm not necessarily talking to this writer. But Kdrama industry as a whole. Can't Kdramas survive without that kind of a plot? Is South Korea a monopoly to chaebols or what? Well it is basically. But may be it's just me, I have seen enough of chaebols / politicians.
