While writing this I just realised they had material to turn their story into a romance drama itself. This was some a real good romance for medical drama.

The director and writer has worked on several projects together, like reply series. So They started with the intention of making this a serial drama. But if the viewers didn't like the drama, they were going to scrap the 2nd season. Since the viewers loved it so much, we have a S2 and even a spin off. And possibly someday a S3. It all depends on the fans' demands.
Poor Ko Do Won, seems like all his hard work writing the paper went down the drain. That witch seems to not have included his name as the first author. May be not even as a second author. She gets credit to his hard work. Sadly this happens too many times in academic world.
Unfortunately she is no different than when she was in hp 😔😔
What I don't get is why she's having such a major role in this series. She was annoyting but didn't cause major damage in the parent story. She was basically a side side charater.

If anything resident playbook is not the one to get another season. It's the parent story hospital playlist. They might combine couple charaters from both dramas and give another season? who knows what they'll gonna do. One thing we know is it's entirely upto the fanbase to decide whether they want another season or not.
