I don’t get why people even feel the need to compare the 2 shows. They share almost nothing in common, other than the fact that they are both BL. They both have their strength and weaknesses and people should criticise them seperatly from each other.

I agree with your second issue 100%. But regarding your third issue I have to disagree, that scence was clearly shown as wrong since Lu Zhi Kent pushing back and didn’t seem to enjoy it one bit. He scolded Sun Bo after the kiss. Yes, Lu Zhi forgave Sun Bo quite fast and I didn’t like that at all, but the kiss was never romanticised.

I think local fans like rom-coms more than the draken theme that trapped was going for. But trapped was no way near perfect either, it had many flaws and plot holes. But I think international fans were more forgiving with the flaws since the theme was quite unique and cool. This time around local fans are more forgiving since the theme suits their tastes better.

What really impresses me the most about the series is how natural the acting is. It all feels so sincere ecspecially the main couple. Nothing feels awkward about their acting and they all seem so comfortable with each other.

I think it has to do with the way the scenes play out. Some scenes just feels way too short, and they just cut to a new scence way too fast sometimes.

I watched it, but they made me feel nothing. I couldn’t bring myself to smile which rarley happens, because the kiss was good.

It is quite fast paced, but the chemistry between the main couple and the acting in general overshadow the flaws in my opinion.
