Asia is pretty conservative. So seeing skinship may be shocking when it's not seen as often. Even in k-dramas, you don't see this level of skinship as much. Also, boys' love are still relatively new and are now getting more and more popular and in some cases risque-er. Back in the day it would be stiff kisses, now it's full on make-out scenes. So, being a long-time drama fan and seeing this change to more openness and more "scandalous" may be shocking to some.

Yes!! The first half was so amazing I really thought I found a C-drama where I wouldn't drop or skip scenes. But that three year skip really ruined the magic of the drama. They stopped seeing that little girl after the ML preached about how it is important to visit them and not treat it as college credit. Then him going from composer to CEO, that was so stupid, and so cliche and underwhelming. Like everything they built up in the first half was instantly forgotten about and swept under the rug. Truly a shame, I might just give up on watching C-drama for now; I have dropped the past couple for getting boring or having terrible second halves.

The actor who plays nubsib has always been, in my opinion, pretty "stale" in the way he acts. It's very monotone. He's a gorgeous guy but his acting is quite stale. Could just be the writing and the roles he gets casted for, or it's just him.

Couldn't of said it better about the comedy part. At the beginning people were so annoyed with the excessive sound effects, but now i'm annoyed with the excessive crying. Also i can't help but think if these business are so obsessed with the money, why don't they see how profitable nubsib and gene's relationship is? Especially gene's company, gene is literally writing a whole book based on their relationship and if it were to drop when they are together, they would literally grow such a big fanbase and lots of revenue because of it. Also the contradictions between them are so annoying. Like they kinda mentioned it at the end of ep 11 about how he promised to stay together even if things get bad... and then all of a sudden they don't..? Like their characters are all over the place on how they feel. I used to really enjoy this show but now it's simply just annoying. I could barely sit through the last couple episodes.
