he is darker skinned than Nut so they tried. This is also a loose adaption with less focus on politics as the producers said in a behind the scenes, its focused on the concept instead. They prob chose him cause of his acting skill and hes already paired with nut who is perfect for this. They could have chosen a CP with a darker skinned actor yes but i guess it is what it is
