If you love dramas with a lot of suspicion and intensity with added romance you will love this too.

both dramas have similar humor and the old school BL feel. They are both lighthearted and fun with two people from different backgrounds ( one more of a city boy, the other more a family/community boy).

Main difference is that generals lady is more on the lighthearted comedic style and prisoner of beauty is more serious and dramatic.

both have tensions and struggles between the MLs and the overall feel is similar.

Not similar in story but in some themes and the feel.

Both have two people living together in an apartment, trying to manage their relationship with some complex elements. If you like one you might like the other.

Both have main leads who are dominant, both have some violent themes/complex characters. Both have main leads who are addicted to the second lead despite the danger/trust issues or morals surrounding the relationship.

similar vibes and angst between the couple. both are good Japanese bl with angst.

Same lead actors, battle of the writers is the better show but both have issues in production/script and direction.

The lead actors have amazing chemistry and are able to do their utmost best with whatever scripts and material they are given.

The watchers on here could definably learn something from this one and also realise there are dangers behind obsessions involving corrupted morals for a persons own enjoyment.

If you like this you will like the other since there are themes involving underlying problems with the cast and broadcasting in other territories. If you like these kind of issues then this is for you.
