its so good! Its a super slow burn with a simmering unraveling story and intrigue

Its full of mystery and a slowly revealing story and character identity. There is no horror as the ghost elements are only supernatural for the purpose of the story. Yai is clinging onto the past since the tragedy of his lover dying suddenly makes him unable to move on. Kaewta, a traditional Thai dancer is reborn and finds himself back in the white house where Yai resides as a bodyless ghost unable to be detected by Kaewta for the time being. Yai is possessive and quick to anger when Kaewta shows affection to others.

The story so far is good and progressive, if you don't like a slow burn then maybe skip this, there are definably steamy scenes to come. The traditional Thai dancing is beautiful! There are some sensual moments which are executed beautifully.

ep 6 edit:
omg it was quite something seeing the corpses preserved together :O This is an interestingly unique BL. Both BillyBabe projects experimented with interesting concepts, I'm intrigued and loving the mystery and pace of this, it is not following the traditional route where the couple get together around the halfway mark and instead dives deeper into their past and present relationship. I wonder how this will be resolved since one of them is a ghost.

Super fun and high energy, lovely setting!

Nut and ping are doing so well in this so far, they have become one of my favourite CPs since Pitbabe. Ping had to specifically bulk up for the role due to the initial backlash of the first pilot trailer and has really proven himself. Nut is in his element and super campy and feminine as a katoey/ladyboy. The costumes are great and the historical setting is beautiful and a nice change. The main character (woradet) has been using she/her pronouns so far so I will continue with them.

The series is lighthearted and humorous, not for those seeking something deep and serious. Its playful and a great mood booster at the end of a bad day. The kissing scenes are on point, episode 8 was really well done including the village drama right after it.

I'm enjoying the confusion around who broke the counts' heart where she is kissing all the locals in ep 1! Kosol is a hunk of a guy with bulging muscles and a pet tiger, the complete opposite of woradet who is becoming overwhelmed after being plunged hundreds of years into the past. There's humour, campiness, sexy moments and interesting side characters. Woradet is going to end up in many more difficult situations to come such as the taboo on gender and sexuality in this time period along with choosing from her various potential romance partners.

I'm hoping Kosol will be a force to be reckoned with and claim woradet as his and may have conflicts with the other suitors. Its interesting to see that he was not massively surprised to see Woradet back from the dead but was still eager to jog her memory of their affair :D.

Nuts performance is lovely to see as he navigates the various difficulties his character faces. This role is refreshing and suits him very well. The MC is very OTT and campy and some may think this is too much, however i am finding it to be fun and I think Nut will be able to balance this out throughout the series and portray the more serious scenes along with the comedy as we have seen so far in ep 1.

I absolutely adore this drama! Waradet is so cute and flustered all the time, big strong kosol is very tolerant and caring towards her even after her personality changed after the poisoning.

I'm also really enjoying seeing pop and lee finally get more prominent roles in a series other than pit babe.

There are some issues with a 'love triangle' but just see this as prince fighting waradets desires as she is in someone elses body and some of her feelings are not entirely her own. The triangle is resolved after about 2 episodes.

PoohPavel back again to warm our hearts

At release date there are only a few 'horror BLs' available. The only other main contender being Khemjira. Whilst Khemjira Tones down most of the horror and keeps it mostly in the first 2 episodes, Goddess bless you from death is not playing around, This series is not lacking in horror moments and some gore filled scenes. (Don't worry though if you are not accustomed to this style as it is not overly intense compared to most Hollywood blockbusters and instead maintains the elements of creepiness and suspense with some jump scares sprinkled in.)

The chemistry is great as usual with this couple and the story is really giving especially in the investigation and mystery elements. Pooh has really come far since pitbabe S1 and is much more comfortable in his own acting abilities which really shows in this drama. Pavel is always a delight to watch in all of his projects, bringing talent and dedication to his projects.

This couple dynamic is very refreshing and not the typical muscle 'top' and gentle 'bottom'. Change is quickly becoming one of the leading production houses in the Thai Bl industry with its collected talents and golden choices in scripts.

Solid Start with gripping storyline

Such a strong first episode! The storytelling and pace are perfect and easy to follow. The Female lead is battling the Male lead in a tournament that has a great effect on her city/clan (not sure) and looses, becoming poisoned which could become fatal. We then learn that She was secretly disguised as a man using a form of cloaking to hide her identity so the male lead does not know what she truly looks like. She now embarks on a mission to gain revenge and obtain the antidote to the poison that is slowly killing her.

This is a very relatable storyline, the FL trained for years for the fight and was defeated due to the dirty tactics by her opponent who used poison and dragged her into another realm where she was weaker in order to ensure his win. I feel the same frustration towards him as she does and I'm rooting for her to teach him a lesson and smack him into next century! I am also interested in how the romance will develop as this is enemies to lovers.

ep 3 plot holes

I dropped after ep 3 where FL gets stabbed and is barely hurt or injured after and also still hangs around the guy instead of running the hell away.

other dramas show injury better than this, it left too much of a plot hole for me to continue. she should not be ok after that type of injury by a huge sword to the chest.
