How funny is this drama? The premise of this story sounds interesting. Someone tagged 38 task force as comedy....but I don't find it that funny. The comedic elements pales compared to Inspector Jo and Psychopath diary.
I just finished this one, and I loved it so much! It was the right balance of comedy, never taking itself too…
It had me hooked from the first episode! Not that many shows can capture my attention on the first episode, normally it takes 2 -4 episodes before they get exciting.
Action packed, great camaraderie between characters, off the chart funny, and fighting for justice...Just my kind of show :) 10/10
I really tried to like the show but just couldn't :( Of all the con-artist shows I've watched so far,the story plot is too slow for my liking. There are some funny moments but not that many.
I prefer Player, Mad dog, Leverage and Switch (for con artist k-drama). I guess I prefer to have my shows with more comedic elements in it. I fell asleep a few time while watching this show.
Oh a plus, Oh Man-seok is in this drama :) Though just a minor role.
The tag states comedy? How funny funny is it? I deem psychopath diary to be quite funny but 38 task force to be only slightly funny. Thank you to whoever reply to this thread! :)
I finished watching this show a week ago. It definitely needs more episodes! Such a great show :) My favorite characters are Director Kang and Detective Jin. K-drama needs more shows like this, Psychopath diary, and Partners for Justice.
I love the story, it is amongst my favorite shows. Watanabe Anne acted beautifully in it. But I find Higashide's acting quite sucky through be told. I have watched several of his shows, he sounds like he is just reading off the script with a monotonous voice. He has only been able to carry it off with acting gigs since he has a model vibe to him. I am saddened by what he had done. Anne does not deserves this worthless crackerpot. I hope Anne divorces him and keep strong and remain on the acting scene. I like her very much.
How funny would you say this show is? I find inspector Jo quite funny and entertaining :)
I've watched Psychopath Diary. Is it among my favorite! My top 3 K-shows so far are Psychopath diary, Inspector Jo and Partners for justice s2. The player is entertaining too.... I love TV!! :) If you have other recommendation, please share with me :D I am watching Team Bulldog, now on ep 3, so far it is quite funny and exciting at the same time.
I've just finished the 8th episode and I absolutely love it! It is rather funny in my opinion, at least I'm laughing…
Thanks for the update....I tried the first episode but didn't like it that much...maybe I need to give it another few more episodes... I gave up The Player after 2 episodes cause i found in boring and then picked it up again 1 month later. Was hooked from episode 3 onwards, I absolutely loved the show! I do like a good con show :)
hiii! im a month late but yesss, the cases do gets solved & YEPP, it’s funny, frl! their humor is on point.
Just finished watching The Player....oh my god, so sad only 14 episodes. A great show indeed! It had me on the edge of my seat. I do love a good con show :)
I feel sad that most Japanese mystery/detective shows remain unsubbed for years. Thank you to all the subbers out there for your hard work, at least there are some shows that are subbed.
